| | | Kajunrook | 01-09-2020 10:21 AM | China Seller lists ships USA I buy a lot of stuff from China and a lot of it is custom made. I was looking at some other items with a nice mark up and saw whereas a "USA" listed seller was selling for free shipping whereas the shipping and cost of goods would leave his profit at zero. Buried in the description was a statement the goods would arrive from Hong Kong in 15-30 days. Hmmm. So I see how he makes money. I went on his store and ALL of his listings state ships from USA (L A) but all are coming from Hong Kong. But when you try to hit Report this Item a pop up comes up that states to please enter an item number that has not ended. ALL OF HIS ITEMS are current. Is that eBay's way of turning a blind eye to his deceptive practices? He has 92K feedback. |

I doubt he is making zero, the exchange rate is such he is making some money |

| agent006140 | 01-09-2020 10:45 AM | Re: China Seller lists ships USA so he is shipping from HK,and you want to report him??? |

He is selling some less than what a tracked item cost sent across town in LA? Should not be able to falsify shipping location. I thought that was a no no with eBay?
But to answer your question. YES! |
| agent006140 | 01-09-2020 11:24 AM | Re: China Seller lists ships USA if you can't report him on his listing, then call Ebay. |
| phaz0rz | 01-09-2020 11:37 AM | Re: China Seller lists ships USA Just call eBay and point it out. Or open a support ticket or whatever they're called on eBay.
Sounds like a glitch is preventing you from reporting listings that seriously need to be reported. This is eBay.. not wish. |
| agent006140 | 01-09-2020 11:51 AM | Re: China Seller lists ships USA If he has 92K feedback, and you dont see anyone complaining,I doubt if anyone cares where he shipped from,Ebay buyers care more about how much they pay for the item.
Chinese sellers can sell for 99 cents, with free shipping from China and make money. |

Chinese sellers can sell for 99 cents, with free shipping from China and make money. | His negative feedback is mostly about "where is my item" Slow Shipping, etc. All of his items when you report says (please put in a current listed item) so how does he do that? |

I have no idea how he's doing it and neither does agent.
You could try reporting from a different country eBay site, like .ca or .co.uk, and see if the results are any different. |
| agent006140 | 01-09-2020 01:02 PM | Re: China Seller lists ships USA I dont think he can report him from another ebay site.as they are both registered in USA.
But if he has many negs, then either buyers dont care or he will have lower visibility or one day get suspended? |
Re: China Seller lists ships USA Chinese sellers should be banned from eBay or Amazon...these marketplaces are ruin their and our business |
| walkingupwards | 01-09-2020 02:35 PM | Re: China Seller lists ships USA There is one fact that most people are not aware of, the communist Chinese government organizes e-commerce sellers and makes forums for them where they meet up and plan what they want to do.
China is waging an economic war against the west (to put it mildly). These Chinese sellers are simply exporting the inflation of the Chinese economy while at the same time destroying businesses in the west.
So when you see a China-based seller selling stuff for 1$, they are not really after that 1 penny in profit, there is hidden agenda behind that practice as well.
I know it sounds crazy, but that's actually 100% true. The Chinese have created Aliexpress for exactly that purpose, they are exporting the excess of Chinese factories to other western nations.
I see sellers on Aliexpress with hundreds of thousands of feedback points, imagine if these sellers were not allowed to ship their items to the US or Europe... local western businesses would have made millions if not billions in profits.
In my estimation, the west has shot itself in the head by allowing the manufacturing to move offshore to Asian countries. The loss is in the trillions of dollars and it is not just monetary by the way. The Chinese genie is out of the bottle now and is destined to keep growing thanks to American tax payers' money that helped the genie come out of the bottle in the first place.
Anyway, I think nations as well as people do get what they deserve at the end of the day and when a nation is so hypnotized that it can't see who its real enemy really is, that nations is destined to fail. |
| unkown5454 | 01-10-2020 04:19 AM | Re: China Seller lists ships USA the problem is that it is like dr.ugs. except, the garbage they sell is le.gal making the situation infinitely worse. americans fiend for it now.
our own marketplaces cater to the chinese over their own domestic sellers. it is fxcking sickening |

The Chinese are very very good at circumnavigating any sort of geographical location limitations. It would be impossible to enforce. and wouldn't be good from a consumer POV |
| yangleizxm | 01-11-2020 07:25 AM | Re: China Seller lists ships USA it's impossible, even you banned we can use other country's account to go on sell :) |
| agent006140 | 01-11-2020 08:58 AM | Re: China Seller lists ships USA most of what we sell come from China anyway, except the Chinese sell for less.
Thats why Trump wants to do something with this 99 cents free shipping from China, |
