Ebay Stealth New Account Suspension! Coronavirus Covid -ONLY EMAIL CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!
Hey Everyone
I've been successful with stealth for years and I have 10 main accounts running and many more on the burner. I have about 5 accounts which I was ready to list my first item on after months of aging and only buying. I know the drill..as soon as I list my first item (not high risk) I will be suspended and need to call in.... easy peezy
Well...NOT DURING COVID!!
I tested an account by listing the first item to see how well ebay support would work during the crisis. Here in Canada the ONLY OPTION IS EMAIL support.
So i got suspended and sent an email with the usual script " im a new seller just listing some personal items from home, please reinstate me"
Boom get a response within 24 hours...stating a generic " ebay suspends any member who may pose a risk to the ebay community and bla bla.
So I'M SHOCKED! I decide to email again saying sorry you made a mistake you only have to verify my info and reinstate me lol
I GET BACK THE SAME EXACT WORDED COOKIE CUTTER EMAIL meaning, as soon as you email them about suspension they email back with the same stupid cookie cutter response.
So basically I doubt that any human is behind it and based on the covid situation i think theres no hope of having anyone in person to help reinstate after the usual 1st item suspension...
BASICALLY GUYS HOLD ON TO YOUR MAIN ACCOUNTS FOR DEAR LIFE...dont trigger the system, don't do too much too fast because chances are if your account goes down...
DON'T expect to easily pull out one your aging accounts thinking business as usual..
PLEASE! SOMEONE TELL ME I'M WRONG? Is there a way around this? Like using a VPN for another country to get a different type of customer service or something?
