Default Will spikes in sales get an established account suspended?

Account details:

1. Age: 3 years

2. Total sales: 150,000 $

3. Feedbacks: 10k positive (99%)

4. Average monthly sales for the last 12 months 5000 $

Will selling 60k a month cause a suspension?

You're much more like to have issues with the Paypal account if you suddenly increase your volume like that. Sudden sales spikes notoriously cause invoice requests with Paypal.

I haven't heard of it causing issues on eBay but I'm sure that's also a possibility.

Paypal is usually the one that gives you problems since they are the money handler.

eBay is less likely but I have seen eBay wanting more info when a spike like this happens.

Can't you ease in to it?

How would you define easing into it? 30k instead of 60?

What do you mean? Shipping orders within the given timeframe?

I would think that's still too steep.

5000 -> 7000 -> 10,000, etc is what I would consider safe.

With eBay handling all of the money going through your account they would have the same reasons as Paypal to request documents if your sales suddenly spiked. Paypal was eBay a few years ago so they probably have similar policies about something like this.

My sales annual are like this. 6-10k A month, then 30K, 60K, 120K and then back down to 10-20k in january and slows to 5-10k by june and then peaking at 100-200K in august and September. That is Most years for me. This year was an exception with magnitudes higher than average sales since March.

Ebay could not care less. Paypal can. My experience with Ayden on Etsy is I can sell 40k the first month with noting more than a 7 day hold. I am hopeful MP is similar and cant wait until we can simply open ebay accounts right off the bat with MP.

So if you were me, would you sell 60k now or not?

For the last year I have been doing 5k a month, is there a danger from selling 60k the next month?

Even 10K I'm thinking then gradually raise it.
