Question App bank accounts affecting credit report?
Hey,

Does opening online (app) style bank accounts in the UK affect/show up on your credit report? For example, revolut, monza, starling, bunq.. etc?

I don't want to open too many for that reason..

I opened an online account in Germany and they never reported to credit agencies because having good/bad credit is no requirement for opening the account.

1. Revolut is not a bank and it will not show up on your credit report. It is a prepaid account with no protections or a banking license.

2. Monzo is a bank and it did show up on my credit report (I recommend avoiding it they shut down my account after excess paypal withdraws)

3.Starling is a bank it will show up on your credit report.

4.bunq,pockit monese,transferwise are all like Revolut a prepaid account with money trasmitter licenses,they will not show up on your credit report.

Be carefull with Revolut and Monese, if you have to many transfers from Paypal they will block your account.
