I got this message from ebay, I removed my payment method almost a year ago and haven't used the account since. Do I have to add a new payment method in order to keep using the account?

Message I got:

You missed the deadline to update your account details and effective February 1, 2021 your ability to revise or relist existing listings, or create new listings will be disabled. Update your account details today, including adding your checking account information so you can get paid.

This is not about paying your fees - its about getting paid.
Sounds like you need to upgrade to MP in order to continue using the acct. Plenty of info about that available in various threads - not much of it good Im afraid.

So How exactly would this work, Can I add my savings account as an option and would it be fine having mismatch names? Any safe way to about this, I didn't find much info regarding this. Just says I have to do this by February 1.

1) Would you still be able to create stealth accounts under different names and addresses, can you add your saving account as a way to receive money like on paypal?

2)Does the name and address have to match in order to receive payments and would ebay be able to see your real information if you add your savings account?

So what would be the changes that we need to make for our existing accounts and new accounts to transition over safely without compromising our accounts, also how would be going about creating accounts now since paypal won't be required. Thanks in advance for the help !

Canadian account? Doesn't sound like it's a MP invite - sounds like you just need to provide a bank account - savings account from a bank that accepts stealth info deposits should do
