so this means that you originally received the message that your identity could not be verified and ID must be uploaded?

your provide information bit by bit. you could have told at the start that they told you could not be verified and docs were uploaded

in such cases a large portion of people gets taken out in silence

ebay have surrendered to Adyen who have a strict policy on identity verification and prohibition sale of certain goods.

for example they banned some goods like coins , sexually oriented items etc. immediately. then they start killing all digital sellers. and I am sure they will be taking out copyright related sellers from high risk countries

I don't dispute any policy violations on my part, however minor.

Had ebay contacted me and let me know, I would have fixed in a heart beat. Even some CS Reps don't know all the rules.

Just caught off guard by no warning. Will have to file for bankruptcy. I have boxes of stuff, but entire inventory was in the hands of ebay - my mistake.

I'm gonna guess the suspension is permanent and move on. Opening my own account with shopify. I have rare and hard to find items, buyers will eventually find me. Will find a way to buy though on ebay in a couple months .

Absolutely same here. Was selling for years, no problems. And now they don't want it.

I'm in CA, Bay Area, down the road from the mothership. Went to MeetUps @ ebay HQ.

Yes, overkill. Ebay lost more in fees and revenue by kicking me to the curb. Was on track to do another 400-500K in business with them.

I think I woke up as John Conner last friday morning, and the bots got me.

ebay have a serious counterfeit problem. the vast majority of sellers from outside the major western countries sell counterfeit items in certain categories and Adyen do not want to run this

All my items were used, except for some specialty Lithium batteries used in Instrument Cluster repairs. All it takes is one complaint from a competitor though.

That's the ironic part, shady counterfeit sellers and the the gangs steeling from Walgreens, CVS, Neiman-Marcus and what not here in the Bay Area will find a way to sell. I'm not gonna risk listing all my items again.

Suspensions are like cancer, most likely to come back.

I feel what you mean , I had to take out a number of items myself which are completely legal but are not allowed under Adyen anymore so I decided not to take the risk

Yes, In the last six months my in person sales cost ebay $20-30 in missed fees. A tiny fraction of what they get from me in store, payment, and seller feees, about $2-3K a month.

Most buyers don't respond when I tell them cash only for in person pickup, and especially when I tell them to meet at local Police Station.

Most of the time I don't even respond to in person pickup. It's just a step up from dealing with craigslist bottom-feeders.

Was forced to enroll by the deadline, sometime in the fall of last year - Sept/Oct.

Seriously doubt anything to do with MP. They had all my info, payments made on time.

Something else triggered. I get ebay won't say reason for suspension, but if it's a policy blunder on my part, like cross-listing, just say so and let me fix my mistake.

Not much, if any. Canceled 3 orders since I thought not likely to see my money.

my take on this is that they never verified you for MP but requested docs and let you sell for a while. the database checks came out as negative and you were suspended. I also think that you did not make much turnover during the time on MP

eBay getting crazy this year. Amazon is doing same crazy suspension too.
