USA Stealth Account - Useful or Useless?

Hi I know that this has been discussed before but I want to check if the situation has changed at all or is different from my understanding.

I am interested in buying a USA stealth account however am I right in thinking that I will be required to provide a Tax ID after just 150 sales?

IF so doesn't this make USA stealth accounts extremely limited in their usefulness? Unless I can get creative somehow?

You need a full tax ID after $600 in sales

And you’re right it’s no longer “stealth”.

eBay knows exactly who the seller is

I had a seller offering a USA account with a CPN# (credit privacy number) More info about them here (https://www.experian.com/blogs/ask-e...rivacy-number/)

Would that work do you think?

I don't understand how these forum sellers can offer so many USA stealth accounts without mentioning they can't be used beyond $600 worth of sales. Especially when the accounts themselves can cost more than that.

This isn't a criticism of this website or the sellers I am simply trying to learn how it works so I can spend my money well.

I'm not even a yank or sell on ebay.com but I'm pretty sure a CPN is worthless for account creation although I might be missing a trick given everything about a stealth account is illegal.

Even if you could make a stealth account stick, how do you plan on addressing the taxation issues, seems to be a tough gig for natives never mind folk outside of the US.

CPNs are a synthetic identity. It should work for eBay but the problem would be filing the taxes.

Most people use CPNs to hide their real identity. It’s not a real identity though

If somebody is offering you a CPN on this forum, please report this to the moderators. We don't allow that here.
