That’s not to high risk items are always the reason an account get limited, but it certainly plays a factor | They're almost certainly creating personal seller accounts, if they were creating business accounts the 'high risk' angle is dramatically lessened.
Okay, there are clearly goods which a personal accounts should give a wide berth and that's why I always offer the caveat of saying 'look normal, be reasonable'. Nobody is suggesting to list a dozen new ipads.
Did ebay decide he was a threat to the community for listing a used pair of jeans, no they didn't. Would they if his personal account listed new wares albeit poundshop tat - more likely IMO.
Now we're into the realm of suggesting it's value, even in the lower range, is a contributory factor. It ain't. It's all sheer speculation and guesswork, and as I said, is enough to have your head spinning.
You and I both know that if we had a pair of used jeans to sell we'd get them sold.
We often forget that ebay need sellers for without them there's no buyers. They do not close down every new seller because they want to ditch their pre-loved pants. Indeed, they're currently having a promotion pushing this market, maybe in response to Vinted.
OP, have you looked at Vinted....... |
