Verify ID stealth!?

Hi there. Purchased account on here. Stealth, up and running seems good but now I have a VERIFY ID on managed payments? Obviously I can’t use mine as it’s going to link my official details??

What can I do!? As my payouts on hold now and I seriously need the money for items I sold!

So verify ID on manage payments on stealth... random name the seller supplied?

I’ve been told depending on items you have sold will depend on if stealth ID passes. I don’t know if this is true or not as it’s not happened to me.

If you sold low risk items theirs a chance stealth ID will pass apparently.

If you sell high risk items like I did it will not pass and your funds will be required by eBay by law.

If you change details to your own information you will get your funds up to 72 days even if you sold high risk items.

Sounds a bit far fetched especially if the items sold and sent to buyer lol?

Could you change to a real ID someone else’s maybe family member?

YOu need to talk to the seller and discuss this . start there.

You're talking about the seller in our marketplace correct? NOt a random guy DMing you?

I know that’s what I thought lol yes you could if you have their permission and your account might not be suspended as well where as changing to your real info or using stealth ID you might end up losing your account.

Managed to add family member and verified ID. All set but just hope no hurdles on going lol. Low key I say? Even contacted CS and kept the screenshot

What's the point of buying a stealth account if you're going to have to change it to add a family member down the line? Is that how the accounts people are offering usually work?

You should be okay now that you have changed details and verified the account. I would just be careful selling to much as it will trigger MC011.

It’s always best to spread sales on multiple accounts.

I always wait for a payment to be processed on my account before selling it on it again just so eBay can’t hold my money

Yes definitely low key I’m not sure what you can do to get your funds. Did you change address to real address maybe they can send you a cheque but I’ll doubt that very much.

eBay are never sending my funds on one of my accounts it’s kept forever.

Yes whatever is sold now and listed I may have a breathing space for 5/7 days and let it settle!

Will hopefully get the items sent tomorrow for tracking delivered Tuesday and get the funds out!!

Is this the account you got £1400 in? Fingers crossed for you that you get the funds out

You have done well to make a stealth account last that long I take it you were selling low risk items.

Age doesn’t come into it eBay can ask for MC011 anytime and it’s mainly triggered through spike in sales.

Just don’t rely on that account whatever you do. Made that mistake before.

No the £1400 is another account, going to send it to money claims court

This is a stealth I’m building up! As you said I need to watch the MC011

How much was your turnover on the account you just submitted ID? Normally it’s £750-£1500 asked if your account is full stealth.

It’s just in 16 months selling phones and electronics I’m sure you would of hit the threshold a lot sooner than 16 months?
