It was my experience when I was an ebay powerseller and the tracking I did for the 6 years I was selling that MOST people do not sell on the holiday actual date. So, you can think of it in two ways. No one is buying OR, you're the only fish in the pond. It was my exprience to list a cursory amount of items on the holiday DAY and I always sold it for what I wanted. Let's not forget we are in a world society of hand held access to the internet; many are with family they can't stand; people are greedy looking for a bargain and, if you are one of the FEW, they you have a better chance of selling your item. Like I said, I only listed a few items...early in the morning when people are getting up and looking to distract themselves from their surroundings, and late at night when they have had the holidays UP TO THEIR EYEBALLS and need a feel good fix.
