The reason mobile IP's are good is because many many people use mobile IP to open Ebay accounts so the behaviour looks normal.

People seem to forget the basics of stealht. I'm pretty sure that when you first started using ebay back in the day that you didn't try to open a seller account the first time you visited the site. You surely clicked around the site for a while, you saw something you were interested and added to your basket, maybe you clicked help pages about how to create an account etc etc.

Nobody is going to spoon feed people here, we all hard to learn the hard way.

Lot of questions still remain to discuss - what kind of items were you selling for one?

I posted a low risk item , all I posted was a black unbranded backpack in one account that I had and the other was a clothes hanger .

I know many people trust anti-detect here, but I am just not sold on it. Far too many things can go wrong with coding and cookies. Ebay has always been a cookie sniffer and always will be. I'd personally refrain from anti's and use classic partitions.

As for the hotspot debate, it may be fine. But you can't tell me that massive abuse from that type of connection wouldn't alert a bot. This falls right in line with the days of using a VOIP for phone numbers. Residential IPs are proven as a hard point of existence and can be made fresh. Not just some random reused generated hotspot IP. They do recycle them and it could be potentially flagged in the UK database and range of possible IPs.

I'd say a lot of ppl don't trust anti-detect here but you're right about the detection

Basically I have had success as long as IP matches the country of registration...

Re: How are you guys making new uk accounts ?

I created a UK eBay business account under a ltd. I was using DLCLOAK so I had a separate browser with a separate MAC address, fresh clean 0 fraud score UK proxy, Barclays Business bank, registered service address the whole 9 yards. Yet 2 hours after listing an item I get MC999'd. Same story for 2 of my US LLC's too. I do not understand how the hell you are supposed to create new accounts?! I am just wasting money constantly registering new companies. Luckily I have 2 other old accounts that are established paying for it all.

Does anyone have any tips on how to successfully list the first item without MC999. I get the "Reactivate your account" email every single time too, but always get that sorted with a phone call.

Anyways, apparently if you stay persistent calling them up you can get them to verify your identity and eventually reinstate you, especially if its MC999 in the early stages

Any account they re-instate after an MC999 will ask for ID documents later on down the line, that is my experience. Still testing strategies.

That’s completely fine for me I can provide ID documents, I can never get to that stage though I could only wish they asked me for documents!

Hopefully today when I call they do that.

How are you doing it? ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details then real later? Or setting up as a new company each time?

Use a sole prop (single owner, no LLC) with a US EIN. When asked to verify, you will only need to provide your EIN creation letter. May save you quite a few pounds on creating companies.

Edit- It seems to be legal with the IRS to be a uk citizen and still grab an EIN. Maybe more of a hassle comes tax time, but it's an outlet that works here in the States.

To get a non citizen EIN number, you need to register an LLC though no?

I have registered for EIN with my Canadian business without needing the LLC - I am fairly sure this applies for all non-US citizens

Update ...

This week created 3 US based eBay accounts , all sole props..I did not even wait. I literally created seller account during registration. And guess what? No MC999s , only reactive now which I have passed on all 3. They did not ask me for any ID. Already listed items and sold multiple items on all 3. All done using ML and basic clean residential IP. I told you and I will say it again and again and again. The reason many of you get MC999 because eBay cannot verify your identity. Full stop! Use real phone number , use clean IP and you can create seller account on the same day without getting MC999.

Re: How are you guys making new uk accounts ?

PS I did get low selling limits but that's because I created seller accounts within 5 minutes after creating eBay buyer's accout. I am going to just wait a week and see if I can get better selling limits with the next 5 accounts I am going to create this/next week. It has never been easier creating eBay accounts like right now. Funny enough I literally added a debit card and then 2 days later a bank account and it did not trigger anything. No ID no MC999. So much for some of the "experts" here

I am also getting reactivate but I get MC999 after listing.

I am using real info, then attaching to a legitimate newly created ltd / llc. So you think the phone number in my case would be the issue? I use Hushed and PingMe for phone numbers.

I totally get you're thrilled that the process is working, but bragging isn't the way.

You are assuming a lot with this process. They may be able to clear certain parts of the identity, including past addresses, public records, etc. But it would be too complex for you to know indefinitely.

You mention seller "verification", a new resi ip doesn't pin a name, a new number doesn't pin a name, so it counters your argument that they "verify" the user unless you are matching literal non-stealth names.

So, which is it? You register real name programmed into the ip and the phone, or youre assuming with new number and ip address you got from a host?

Never EVER use services similar to textverified. Even if they claim they are not using VOIP, their devices / numbers are flagged ! So it could very well be that using a flagged phone will lead to MC999 despite having a verifiable information. Also confident you are that your SSN and DOB and everything else is fresh and correct ?

Who is bragging ? I am literally trying to help everyone here by CLARIFYING what is really going on. The issues like I said the the fact that people enter unverifiable information. If your DOB and name doesnt match your SSN then how do you expect ebay to verify your identity ? They do check address but I highly doubt it is a deciding factor because people move, they rent , they dont stay in the same place and dont always update their ID on time.

Come back within a week and see where those accounts stand.

Just because you pass a reactivate doesn't mean they get suspended a week after.
