I tried to contact you earlier today to verify some information on your
eBay account. Unfortunately, the number you had on file was
disconnected. eBay requires its sellers to have a valid working phone
number in order to list items on our site. Please update this
information.

Also, We'd like to gain some insight into your business so that we can
help coach you for success on the site. Please reply to this e-mail
with a good time to reach you. If you have an alternate phone number,
please include that as well.
You should hear from us within 24 to 48 hours.

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and

What bull shi* is this! man I am pissed off I am loosing money and so are they I have been a 100% member since july 08 ! and they hit me with this, I barely hit a little over 1k and about 30 items like other members but I am pissed off he lied, the number on file is my cell phone and it is fully working that fuc*er never called! Want are they going to make me do? It has been already 4 days! I emailed them and called them and no email yet!

If the account is all real information, then whats the worst that could happen
by calling them with that same cell number you have on file?

They have already limited the account. I think you should call in or it
will remain limited.

Also, this is funny, but i really don't think they care alot about the money
they were making from you.
There are just so many of us for them to steal from.

In what timeframe did you sell the 1k/30 items? One of my accounts got hit by the same a few days ago when it sold right over 1k and 30 items. Perhaps there's a trigger for this at eBay. How much feedback did the account have?

They can't possibly contact every single seller that sells over 1k or over 30 items. That would be millions of calls.

I called them, emailed them and went into live chat this was 5 days ago! Still no response on the email they said they were supposedly going to send me. I have 72 feedback 20 5 star ratings 5.0 on all of them. I started selling in Jan. around 200. and then feb. middle of that to until 5 days ago I sold around 1200. I know they are not getting alot of money of me since I sell small but I am pissed because I am not making money. I am looking into stealth accounts but the thing is the feedback. I might have to start on of those and sell popular 1 dollar items until I hit around 100. I have a extra account but it has my address I think a different name and same paypal. I dont think I can use that as a stealth account oh ya same ip address logins.

Did you ever get that dumb follow up letter? that they said they were going to send to you? And if so what did they require?

Yeah I did and they wanted drivers license, ID, etc. all that crap.

The account is from 2008 you're saying? There's got to be a pattern. My account was only a little over 2 months old, but I sold about $1000 in 2 weeks if I remember right. Exactly 30 items sold.

For me, they didn't say anything about the phone number though.

There's got to be some kind of a pattern. Doing a Google search, I can only find maybe 5-10 results for that eBay suspension message. If they did it to all sellers, there would be hundreds of messages around the internet. And they also can't verify the ID and drivers license or things like that for every single new seller. They would need to manually verify millions of sellers.

Here's one thing ...did you have any other account with the same name/address? It must not have been even previously suspended, just another account with the same information. That was my case. I had 2 seller accounts in the same name and address.

YES! Actually I had two accounts with the exact same information maybe not the name, there were sellers accounts. I guess I know why I got hit with this bullsh*t

What information was the same in your case? For me it was everything (name, address, date of birth, etc) the same ...the only thing different was the eBay account name and the email address. Basically the same as a person opening 2 eBay accounts.

ya same deal with me different name and email.

All the guy did is talk with me about my product were I get it, if I make a profit or what not.
