Default Can't Create New Seller Account Says Tech prob any body else same?

This the exact message I get when I go to set up a new seller account when I go to select my credit card as my auto payment method. Sorry! We're currently experiencing technical difficulties and are unable to complete the process at this time.

I've had that before, I used Live chat, to get it fixed. The ebay worker told me it was a glitch in the system.

Not a glitch. The account is already being flagged for some reason. Usually, to many attempts to verify credit card or payment method.

I hadn't done anything that would raise flags, all I had done was create the account. It was several months ago.

I was told it was a glitch...

I only used the card once Have setup two diff accounts two diff credit cards done the required stealth tasks. What your telling me is their red letters saying cannot process the transaction really means that their just blocking out my account and don't want me to know it?

LakeMan Do you know that the live help did to fix it? I've been on with three diff ones and they all tell me their working on it. I do have turbo lister installed on this Pc I'm about to try a backup Pc and see if I get the same result. Your responses are helpfull thanks

Live help reset my ability to create a seller account and I was able to get past the error message after i typed in the credit card info in firefox not ie7 though.

Yes, I am telling you something in the account you created is setting off a flag. Maybe the ip address you using, a cookie, the info you used, even the type of card you are using.
I have gotten the message numerous times. Then have changed ip and email address and run ccleaner and registered a whole new account with the same info a card and approved a minute later. Then cleared info and logged back in to the original account and using same card got "technical difficulties message" When just 30 seconds ago it was fine and registered the other account.
Something is accidentally setting of a killbot and the only way around it is to have them reset the flags or for you to change ip and clear the cookie and try again with new email, but same info.

I had the same thing happen on a couple accounts, never tried live help just moved on to another one, I think I'll go back and try live help now...
