Default eBay Stressful or What???

Does anybody else think selling on eBay full time or part time with a pretty decent size inventory is one of the more stressful jobs you can have??

I mean is it just me who stresses about this? my girlfriend, mom and brother and sister say i over stress about my eBay business. eBay did not stress me out until 2 competitors took over the items i was selling and selling more due to the fact they used paypal and i don't. thats when i started buying from china and got vero's like crazy. Now i know that if i get one more vero my account is done and wont be able to use another payment service other than paypal.

So do you guys stress to?? my stress level is like a 10/10 stars all day!! i just want to make enough money and open a small business that i can run and not depend on others to keep my business open and selling. definitely not healthy.

Yeah it can be stressfull if all you have is a bunch of new accounts with not much feedback but if you got a good 10-20 accounts with a 1000+ feedback, 10-20 amazon and craigslist accounts maybe a website and a storage locker jam packed full of inventory as well as digital goods it could be alot smoother sailing.

You need to find some different items to sell any item that gets taken down from ebay gets thrown on to craigslist, I do this for a living so if I don't make money I'm homeless, I get my money off the internet one way or another, sometimes maybe a little more ruthless than others but I get it out, so far I got this month and next months rent all within the last week and no that's not money on hold with paypal that's cash in my pocket that came out of the atm from ebay to paypal to me, cold hard cash.

Thanks guys its REALLY NICE to know i am not alone lol.. to "jbuntz" that would be a dream having that many accounts and all that inventory. i am not using paypal and i have bought the guide and have read it many times just to know everything by memory, but let me tell you dealing with paypal just scared the s### out of me. Hopefully i can be a pro and have as much account like you said

Now i can show my relatives that ebay is very stressful!!

I haven't had any problems with paypal in quite some time they're still my preferred choice ecspecially for off ebay transactions since the customer can't get there money back as long as the tracking shows delivered and there's no 21 day hold works great for sites like ioffer, paypal likes low-key people.

Limitation was the hardest, I assumed that would be over in a couple of weeks. Didn't realise the impact it would have on my life.

Going away for a long weekend and coming back to a crammed full inbox scares me and being ill and missing several days work will basically end my business when the DSrs kick in.

Any worse than a real job? Yeah, everything is down to you if you are a sole proprietor and that's the stress.

Since paymate asks for SSN, can you open many account there?

If you have multiple payment accounts and one of them gets shutdown you still have other sources available right then and can keep on using your Ebay account. Also if it is a newer account then you don't have to take in so much via Paypal and can build trust with Paypal instead of trying to take in $5k the first month.

Paymate will let you have as many accounts as you want. You can only have Ebay account attached to each Paymate account though.

I don't think Paymate is available in the UK. You would need to check on the Ebay UK site as to what the approved payment methods are.
