Ebay pays buyer dispute, tells me they will eat it?
This is a new one for me. What are they trying to pull? Here is copy of what they emailed me:
"We reviewed your case about an item not matching the seller's
description. We have decided in the Buyer's favor but do not find you at
fault as well. We will not seek reimbursement from your PayPal account
or other reimbursement payment method on file."

UPDATE: After about a month and a half, Ebay placed a hold on the payment once that paypal account had enough balance to cover the hold. It was fine while the balance was below the hold amount.
Ebay paid the buyer back a month ago and sent that no one is at fault message, but it was apparently just a trap to get the balance up over the reversal amount.
Tricky *******s.

It appears with some of the "bait and switch" tactics I've seen paypal pull on the site here lately they have no issue feeding you any crap to get their money. I mean out right lies if need be. Not talking about tricky fancy wording that could be misunderstood, but bold face lies...
I had this same scenario play out with an acct. I had not used in over 6 mos. Ebay paid the buyer over $100.00 due to some sort of buyer dispute. I never used or checked the acct. in 6 mos or so, so imagine my shock. Both the Ebay and Paypal acct. are in good standing. Although it was not indicated, I guess paypal will take the money once I start selling?
