Default Selling account limited, need help.

Hi folks, i'm new to this very helpful forum.

Recently our account fell below standard, due to some newbies on eBay leaving negative feedback's and low DSR's. Our account was limited 2 weeks ago, to sell only 7 items, with a maximum of $275 sale per week. Our next evaluation will be on June 20th 2010.

I was wondering if there's a way to go around this? eBay customer support is no help, you call a number and it is outsourced to Philippines. They put you on hold to transfer to trust and safety department, but basically it's just them putting you on hold to review your account status.

Would linking another eBay account, to the same PayPal work? or would that get our account suspended? I currently have one eBay account, with one PayPal account linked

Thanks in advance for your help!

There is no way around a selling limit that Ebay places on the account. You just need to make sure and get your DSR ratings up so they will remove the limit. Some people choose to link 2 Ebay accounts to a Paypal account but the problem with that is when your Paypal account gets limited and goes down then they Ebay accounts are no good. Your best bet is to set up several stealth accounts and spread your sales out over the accounts.

If you Open and or link another Selling account it also will get suspended for SNP (Seller Non Performance), caused by Negative feedback and low DSR's

My advice to you is to Open a NEW Ebay and Paypal account set, following all The Rules in The Stealth Book

Thank you for the replies.

I talked to eBay customer support today.

According to the rep i talked to, making a new ebay account is a way around the selling limit and that I will not have any problems as long as I don't shill bid or leave feedback for the other account that has selling limits.

What do you pro's think?

I don't sell Vero item's. I sell mostly used items that we're donated free by people(cellphones, computers, electronics)

I too got my ebay account limited yesterday (low shipping time dsr ratings though I'm at a 4.8). Ebay stuck me on 30 days selling at 50%, which I can't even live on. Should I just create another ebay account yet use the same PayPal, with a new email address of course? Will this drop off before 30 days? Also how in the world will they limit the amount I am supposed to make per week. I don't understand. Are they going to close my auctions if I make a certain amount that day in the week already or limit the amount of PayPal money to that amount? How are they making this work? Sounds crazy to me, but that's Ebay for ya! Nuts!

Yes. Best work around is to make a new ebay account, you can use the same paypal account. Waiting 30 days with a 50% limit is BS.
