| rayxiaoyu | 08-30-2010 10:50 AM | Listing limit? Someone knows what is it? It is not suspension. When I listed, I got this information. Seems it limits the amount of my listing. Someone knows what it is?
Please note that we have banned the posting of new bids from your eBay account. Indeed, to preserve the integrity and security on eBay, we can impose limits on sales to certain accounts.
Thank you for your understanding. Note that this limit does not in any way prejudice your credibility nor the role you play within the eBay community. If you want to clarify this situation, you can contact the Safety Regulations and eBay using the form available at the following help: eBay: Redirect

jesseinkaron | 08-30-2010 11:13 AM | I Got the same problem ,
I am wondering if this limit will last forever until you provide them the extra info they want? Or will it they lift the limit over time as you get more sales under your belt and get more feedback and DSRs ? Selling limits and 21 days hold on payments are fair enough IMO. If ebay had half a clue .. they would use tools like these more instead of just suspending your account and limiting your paypal and stealing your money for 180 days. |
Maybe I am not following - they banned just your BIDDING activity? How about your sales?
It is possible - we can discuss - that your bidding IP is taken into play... |

I Never Saw Anything like a "Bidding Limit" as a Buyer or Seller,,,,I can See it as Some type of Buyer Limitation,,,If there is a History of Non-Paying item Strikes on the Account, Or a lot of Retracted Bids, or something like that,,, |
Exactly Slapped - or if IP is linked to someone with strikes, chargebacks, or shill bidding. |
jesseinkaron | 08-30-2010 02:46 PM | I am pretty sure he is talking about selling limits and nothing to do with bidding.
English may not his native language .. I think he means selling limits |
Maybe true - link is directed to french ebay.
Tu parles francais @rayxiaoyu? |
boxcutters | 08-30-2010 03:11 PM | OP
why do you have a USA flag and a french ebay account?
OP
didnt you just create the same thread about a week ago? |
jesseinkaron | 08-30-2010 03:54 PM | So .. does the selling limit get lifted after you have more selling history ?
Or is it with you forever until you provide the additional info they want ? |

Over time as your account builds trust, your selling limit will be Raised. |

rayxiaoyu | 08-30-2010 10:48 PM | It is a selling limit.
It doesn't happen every time. But it happens sometime. I try to list on Spain. I list 13 but only 7 successful. |
GreenBean | 08-30-2010 11:24 PM | :faint:
Think the OP is listing on international sites with a new account and gets a message that the account is not able to list many items because of (at least two factors):
account is new
items may border on high risk
Solution?.....hit me with some,kids. I know but ....;) |
rayxiaoyu | 08-31-2010 06:26 PM | the account is half year old and the items are some toy, not high risk. |
ebay-stupid | 09-01-2010 01:08 PM | i have the same problem like yours, selling limit.
previously was no problem, can list unlimited and until some ****s came in for neutral feedbacks received, i am barred from listing.
Certain international ebay sites limits to $200 only... unless you want to raise up your limit by talking to their so called security and trusty team...
you can forget it talking to them...i myself tried before, 4 days later received a reply with crap automated answers. |
rayxiaoyu | 09-01-2010 04:42 PM | Yep, I got the same automated answers |
imjustme | 09-04-2010 02:22 PM | The best is to take it slow. Don't list more than 20 items on an account, then wait for the feedback to come in, list on another account in the meantime and let the other account cool off. You can surely list and sell 60-80 items in a week but when the next review comes in (which is automated), it will raise a flag and limit your account and then you can forget about ever selling anything on it again.
My advice, take it slow. Use many accounts. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:45 AM. | |
