Item lost? Who knows where,,,
I wanted to know if it's safe to drop off a prepaid USPS package at the centers where they do all kinds of shipping (USPS, UPS, FEDEX...), printing, sell shipping materials....etc...
I don't even know what those places are called but does anyone know what I am talking about? Since they are not an actual USPS office, I was wondering where the postman actually takes the stuff...the nearest post office or what?
If anyone has used places like those, did you encounter any problems?
I really need to know because I dropped off a first class mailing tube last month and they still haven't received their item! But another package that was parcel post was received by another buyer; which was also dropped at the same location.
Now, I went back there and told them the issue but they wouldn't even give me any kind of information but telling me to go to the nearby USPS post office. They just said that they weren't responsible...
The worst part is that, the tracking number (I created the shipping label from Paypal) has NOT even been updated ONCE!!:>
It's just says:
The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper.......you know, the message when you first cleate the label-___-
Where in the world could the package possibly be?
I was also thinking that since this being a tube and all, it's considered 'irregular' but I did choose that option when filling out the label online. Even if the problem was that it extra surcharge, wouldn't it be sent to me by now?
By the way, I didn't have insurance in this thing but I heard that I still can get insurance? If so, how do I do this?
