There is no set number - it's a percentage of your entire that are looked at - also neutral feedbacks.


Longetivity of the account is also factored in and suspensions etc.

You would have to analyse each account individually.

First question should be WHY did I get a negative.?

Second question is then WHAT can I do to keep my account in sound working order?

The ebay game has changed. ebay master now hates negatives AND neutrals. Your get out of jail free cards are nearly useless.

Sure there's a ratio of good to bad. The trouble is that ebay will not care UNLESS you run the account up to their (hardly known) standards. Negatives are poison. Poison kills.

The reason for your Negative Feedbacks, we have no idea.

Now as a Seller on the Bay, one thing that I could recommend is to offer either VERY LOW or FREE shipping!

Bottom line is that you simply CANNOT please everyone! Having said that, and keeping in mind that you ARE STEALTH, you may at times have to agree or come to terms with the buyer whether you like it or not.
Who cares about a dollar or two if it allows you to buy-sell within the Bay.?

If you made $500 for the week and had to give back $20...is it worth the disagreement or possibly suspension? Just go with the flow of things and make wise decisions.

Ebay states that you can't fall below 98% feedback or face restriction. If you don't bring up your feedback percentage within the 30 day restriction, they will suspend you.

That means you better have 98 out of every 100 customers leave a positive.
