 Presale listings policy
Hi,
I recently listed a presale for an item being released within the next 30 days. I listed the presale as I normally do. With the appropriate font stating it was a presale and the day it would ship... However, in my handling time I left the handling time as I would normally leave it for a regular auction at 1 business day.
I reviewed the presale listing policy and it states that I must set the handling time to the amount of days until the item will ship.
I sold a couple of these and now I got an ebay Shipping reminder email. I realize I screwed up and should have set the handling time at 30 days.
My question is, as long as my buyers don't complain will ebay bots notice the item has not shipped and ding my account or something.
Honestly, I've always listed preorders this way, but I never recieved any of these shipping reminder emails before. I don't know if its some automated ebay email that has no bearing on my account or if there is some bot that is watching how many days its been since the order has been placed.
Please anybody that has info, I would really appreciate it. This account is in perfect standing, with top rated seller status, and 5000 feedback. I really don't want to get my account messed up.
