Default return not received back

how do I handle a return that hasnt been received back? buyer wants refund and says they sent it, I asked for tracking and they said not sent with tracking, I assumed they would, since I sent it to them with tracking. How will ebay paypal handle this issue, not dispute yet but sure there will be soon.

They have to return it with tracking. You will have a nice case with Paypal since you had sent it with tracking. All the best - you would be able to get seller protection.

If you really didn't get it and care about the money, tell paypal that.
If you really didn't get it and care about your feedback, refund them regardless.

Can't have both in this case.

99% of the times when u refund some one u or ebay dose it. The buyer will get the refund and they will keep the item. ebay dosent give a s**t about the seller as long as the buyers happy. I had 3 cases where ebay refunded the buyers w/o my promission and never once did i get the items back.

ebay/Pp require use sellers to provide tracking numbers in order for use to recive are money. But when it comes to a buyer shipping a item back why shouldnt they have to provid a tracking in order to recive a refund.

When a buyer opens a dispute to return item they MUST give tracking number to eb / pp. If they don't then they are liable to be shafted. Now when I say liable, it means that seller has some advantage that you need to push for because, otherwise, you will get the auto-email of sorry, you are not covered, etc. - i fight in this case.

And take the negative feedback? You know they aren't going to just decide to not leave you won... Here they are, either out of the money to ship it back and the product... They are going to be pissed at this point, and if it's something bad you're selling and they are super pissed. you're going to get a nice "FOO FOO" feedback . Not worth it. I have someone trying to get me to refund them now before they revise a feedback. I exlplained, they have nothing to lose. I have everything to lose if i refund and they dont revise.

All they gotta do is open a case and i must take the return back

Also a good point unless you can cancel the transaction

the buyer has to input the tracking number to verify it was returned to you. If they do not, then they have no valid case in the claim, ebay/paypal cant verify it was returned and you will win. Tracking is very important when using ebay/paypal.
