Default MC999 Confirm Identity

I am being prompted to confirm identity before listing goes live. I have 5 auctions up an running. Does anyone know what the correct answers to confirm account would be? I have made some changes to account info over the past month. This account is not stealth but was apparently flagged for being linked to suspended account.
Should I change it back to original account info?

Welcome to the forums.

Whether or not your change it will not help the situation. You have been linked and flagged so (in my honest opinion) this account is iffy at best. I would get STEALTH accounts going.

While your question about the confirmation of identity has been addressed in other posts that can be found by searching the forum - look up posts for eb ay identity verification phone call. You will see that the answer is simple ha.

Maybe other folx will post straight up later in the day but I do have to encourage new folx to search and explore.

All the best.

Account in question (to confirm) is relatives account living at same address. Relative is aware of situation and create afew years ago as backup. I have all of their personal info. Should I have any problem confirming? I don't want to move forward until I know what to expect.

When its a real person, they ask some pretty intense questions. They can ask about the relative's family, which you may not know all of the details. Such as "What is your mothers birthday" and whatnot. They also ask specifics about your relatives past that you may or may not know.

In conclusion: it depends on how well you know your relative, however if you're linked at all you're already dead in the water and they are going to want documents to verify (ID/bills) at a minimum.

Not good to use any family members info on any account.

Whether they know or not what if they want to use their own info later on down the road and you killed it for them?

Stealth accounts are much easier then having to deal with ticked off relatives down the road.

Who knows if you pulled off a stealth account with a new IP though and some verification passes after a phone dial only ends in suspension or ID verify sooner than later.

Two ways:

1. (the easiest) Keep selling, meeting limits and waiting while you build time+feedback and then speak to live chat agent.

or

2. (be fully prepared) Call up eb ay and speak to an agent. You passed the online questionnaire but you may be asked to provide ID depending how your agent call goes.

Maybe other options exist and folx will chime in. This is based on what I have been seeing.

All the best.

What if my relative signs up for an account using all of their information, then all I do is change my ip address and create a new user account on my computer and use the account that they signed up for on my computer.
I have a relative who is willing to let me use their account because they never plan on using eBay anyway.

should be fine as long as none of thier info has ever been used before. Make sure the ip is new and the new user is fresh.

I just went thru this " verify ID" thing today and called Ebay.... it wasnt that bad really, at first she asked me " who am i speaking with"? so i looked at my stealth list and told her the first name... then she asked me 2 questions.... both were way out of the ballpark and were easy " none of the above" answers..... like one question was... Which area code is yours or have you used in the past? (I live in FL with 904) her area codes were crazy, they were like 038, 027, 016... etc.... I told her flat out, " I live in FL my area code is 904.... she was pretty easy, I almost think they are looking for either foreign scam artists starting accounts like from Nigeria or something with the strange questions.... anyway she only asked 2 questions then told me everything was good and my account would now be off restriction, so i went in and listed my items... all is good.. also i forgot to tell you guys... when i called ebay... it wasnt the phone number on my stealth account, I used my wifes cell phone and did *67, then called them.... no problems at all....
