Is ther a better day to list on than the otherr .. i.e is listing on tuesday safer than listing on friday
I've always had good luck doing a 3-day auction starting Thursday night and ending on Sunday night. It seems the people bidding are not at work, kids are in bed or watching TV, etc... No distractions so they can concentrate on bidding!!

I like auctions ending Monday mornings.... Seems like everyone is online when they start work Mondays. Checking emails, ideas from the weekends or whatever else they are doing online. I guess it also depends on what you sell and consider time zone. 9am est is 6am on the west coast. All things considered I would say California is my biggest customer base. I think this is due to the outrageous taxes and fees they have on products.

Again we agree. I do a lot of 3 day listings as you posted and do well with them.
I also do well with Sunday to Sunday auctions ending them Sunday evening.

Sundays and Mondays have always been the most profitable days for me. As far as listing a vero item, I love the wee hours of sunday morning and do a one day auction, or a buy it now, and hope that it sells by the wee hours of monday morning.
I've found that listing an item for a 3 day auction that ends on Thursday/Friday at around 7/8pm will get you the best deal as eBay is booming at those times.
I figure everyone has just got paid from work and go on eBay looking to spend their money.
i always list during the nite time. usually 10pm EST thru 11pm EST is always good.
saturday nights and sundays work best to end on as well as mondays too. i run 10 day auctions but when i run other auctions i usually have them ending on sunday night.
even having listings end during the week are fine too but make sure it is night around the time i mentioned above. it will increase sales 10 fold. i used to list at lunch and then at 5pm and then at night. lunch was good 5pm was worst and night always rocked out.
And note it doesnt matter what i sell, people from CA USA are always buying on eBay. Make sure your listings are active late at night so you can attrack the differnt time zone etc.
