Default lady wants refund

okay so a lady sent me a message through ebay saying that the package her item had come in was crushed.(the usps crushed it. not me)
she asking for a full refund plus the shipping and handling to ship it back to me. what do I do?

If it was me, I would call my customer and put on my best "Happy Face " to avoid any chance of a low DSR Score and/or adverse Feedback.

If this item that was something that could be damaged in shipping, take at least some responsibility that it may not have been packed properly.

Try and get this taken care of before she files a claim.

customer is always right, give the refund, it will save you headaches in the long run. We all get these annoying customers, just give them what they want and move on.

This happens so much, losing items in the post, items being damaged or con buyers claiming items never received!

Best to 'track' and 'insure' your expensive items always.

and

Cut your losses with the cheaper items.

Just tell her u will give her a full refund as soon as she ships the "crushed" pacage back to you. But make sure u onlymessage her in ebay. That way if she sayes somthing like i will leave u bad feedback if u dont........... Then u cancall ebay and get it removed for feedback extortion. This happened to me a couple times. Also. If she says she wont send it back and just wants a refund you will also have that to use on ur side for ebay to see. But most likly if it was crushed she will send it back but if it was not crushed i dont see her crushing it just to sent it back.

I think if someone is not going to return the "damaged" item but wants a refund, then it is very likely that they are trying to scam you.

If they say they cannot be bothered having to post it back or say they have no time, then simply say you will have a courier pick the item up directly from them. :D

Also, if they are not going to send the damaged item back and want a partial refund for the supposed 'damages', then make sure you request a picture of the damaged item from them.

Make sure you approach these methods in the most professional and freindly manner as to avoid negative feedback.
