Hi

My problem is this:

A buyer bought an item from me
They had their country not recieving regular mail
I sent Ups
It was a large package at a large value
I packaged well and all
Buyer claims when gotten, it was not working properly and that a piece was missing.
I tried to get her to call ups, she didn't
i did
i got them to get the package from the buyer, buyer states that.
i didnt hear back from ups that they did
did they really pick up the package?
she wants every penny plus the expensive shipping

also,i dont think she even used machine, btw

What???

ShadyOne 07-04-2011 05:06 PM

Exactly, surely if you had UPS sent to collect the package, you would be able to contact them to find out the current status.

Called ups
they said that they delivered to her and she refused package saying it was damaged.
could it be that they redelivered it to her
they said i would know more in a day or 2

Wait on UPS - as I understand it they have to return it to you

hi,
how do i email the buyer and tell her what
she is demanding full money

GrannyT 07-05-2011 03:03 PM

Pardon me?

UPS can contact the Driver to see what " she refused it because it was damaged" means. If it was cosmetically damaged on the outside, the Driver probably should have noted this package for a claim.

If not.... then she is just guessing the items inside are damaged which is strange

If you can get UPS's reply in writing or in email, I would take a pic of the reply (your desktop) and put it as a link in your reply to her bad feedback.

Tell her you will graciously assist her in getting her money back thru UPS, then offer her their toll phone number to file a claim. After she updates you upon her filing and receives a number, and you will help check in on the status of her claim.

Actually I think you will find the OP has to claim. The buyer gets refunded from the seller - but the item has to be returned.

The ups has the item and keeping it until i pay them to send it back to me
they tell me they delivered it to her and she refused
could it be they redelivered

GrannyT 07-06-2011 02:00 PM

If they have it pay and get it back - that's the first thing. Get a statement, note or email from UPS that they refused to accept it then get on to Ebay to have the deal cancelled. Be pro-active - get with the programme and stop them shafting you

Whole Story:

I sent with ups
delivered to her
she emails me and says it is damaged and she had opened the box to see item and asks what to do about this
i tell her to call ups since i had insurance that she didnt even request
she asks why, i end up calling ups and seeing what they can do
they tell me they will pick up item from her
she emails me cheerfully the next morning saying that they picked up item
i think that they will callme, they don't i end up calling them few days later
they say they picked up item and will discuss the matter with the shipper(the outlet i shipped with)
i do get info that the box is with them and that they say it is broken
the shipper guy ends up getting to chat it out with them
I end up getting a automated phone call from ups saying that item is in canada and i need to call and see what to do
i call and they tell me item shipping needs to be payed to ship to me
thats extortion
I am really stuck here in the i dont know what is going on
do i trust this buyer

New_to_This_01 07-06-2011 05:54 PM

oh and the ups people told me that she refused item
but could that be a re-shipment

GrannyT 07-06-2011 06:01 PM

This is a classic example of asking us for advise when we only have half the info - I'll have to come back to this - meanwhile other stealthers are about

call ups and explain to them that you need to know were your item is
