Have a buddy who has a solid straight up seasoned account I can list on.
Will do so from his location and everything is cool. would the fact that he now starts to list a lot more items flag the account? If it's clean what worries do we have. Just an increase in activity and perhaps using new 3rd party software and picture hosting which he has not done in the past. Any advice?

Too many factors are missing: history of sales; longetivitiy of account; what are you selling; - in general, listing a lot out of the blue is rough on the account but you need to address these kind of questions first.

All the best.

Account opened 2002 over 600 feedback he lists only a few items a month random used items mostly low ticket $50-100. New high volume would be same type of stuff.
Also is changing user name a flag he did that about a month ago.

If its a totally legit account then what would that question. as long as you make customers happy and keep good dsr's there is no problem.

They might call or something but if its legit there let them call and explain what is going on. Just tell them you got laid off and wanted to start up with more volume to make some income.

If you are changing to VERO items then its a whole different story and plan on hassles.

Sometimes what happens is if you start listing heavy on quite(ish) accounts, it may raise a flag or two - so slowly increase - personal experience

User name change is ok.

If your are planning high volume sales, spread sales around.

Also, I hope your friend knows if it all goes wrong, he will never be able to have his own account again - stealt out instead - either way, you will need to go slow - on stelths you can mess about a bit more - good luck

Wow, this is pretty serious. Please do not ruin that account for him. Do study thoroughly much of the advice here and any new product you intend on selling, research it and its possible troubles if any exist.

An account like this can be turned into Top Rated Seller and pulling 5 figures per month within 60-90 days if you do it properly.
