Default 3 month old account limited to selling 20 items

As my tytle said. I have two accounts both stealth. One is business with an ein number. After three months and 100% pos feedback and 5 star dsr all the way around. Ebay only gave me 20 item limet. Thats only 10 more a month. Is somthing wrong here i was thinking it would be at least 100 items a month.

It is 90 days from the first item sold. ALso, you can start off with higher limit by being linked to verified paypal.

This is normal and standard. Here is my advise:

1. Learn to spell.
2. Use the search button
3. I can already tell you are a 17-25 year old male

Im in the same boat- I have 8 accounts that are 6-8months old all with 100% feedback and it just got changed to 20/2000.

There really is no rhyme or reason to when they do it.

Not sure then. I have never had a limit from day one so I dont know. I verified everything up front like they asked and never been bothered. Might be category or something who knows.

eBay puts limits on certain categories. I'm not sure which ones though.

Learned this via eBay live chat

I agree, I linked a verified Paypal to the account before starting to sell. I have the 10 item $1,000.00 limit. What do I do?

are you guys doing that 2 out of 3 things to confirm on paypal prior also ? Are you putting a follow up payment CC as well? Just curious as to why you guys keep getting these limits.

What categories? I use Business/ Industrial only though so maybe that is part of it. I know that category is definitely NOT on the watch list for ebay. They told me that on the phone a while back.

My paypal is FULLY verified. I confirmed the bank account, and confirmed the credit card to lift the sending limits as well. Did it all by the book, everything is the same. What do you mean by follow up payment CC as well?

Follow-up payment CC would be an additional cc on eb ay account DIRECTLY - usually to take care of fees. Seems to be an added financial "surety" on the account.

^ Do you think that has anything to do with the selling limits?

I think a small part is whether you have a business or personal account. Sometimes I don't think they know why they limit. When I was trying to raise my limits, I called and was told it would increase 90 after your first sell. I talked to someone else about 3-4 days later and they told me it is 90 days after you receive your first feedback. I don't think anyone has figured out the logic. I agree though that it has something to do with the categories.

I have 3 accounts that are both ebay and paypal verified with credit card and bank account on all of them. Still got the 10/1000 on them and its been over 90 days since sale. Now I just got an email on one of them from paypal that they added 21 day hold. I have been going crazy trying to figure out the golden steps to create account without limits and have not hit the jackpot. There have been a few around the forums that claim they have the key, but wont elaborate, so I dismiss their claims.

In the meantime I just keep selling on older accounts without limits.

It has been very frustrating to say the least. I even had a nice streak going of getting ID verified and now im in a slump. The questions seem to have gotten more difficult too.

Eventually this will git them in the gut..... Financially!

Well you have one of two choices. You can call and bring attention to yourself. Your stealth better be air tight because I know from experience that they will look at your account VERY closely. Otherwise, you must be patient. Just list a few in non VERO items and sit tight. You have other accounts, just sell on them for awhile.
