| | | jnm0685 | 08-12-2011 06:59 PM | don't call ebay to raise limits Don't call ebay to raise limits, I did this was selling legit items too and i had reached my limit so I call and asked for raised they ask me to send supplier invoices so I send them all the invoices of my supplier legit info I got a reply back from ebay telling me that there was a different address on shipping than on the ebay account I explain the address was our business address and the ebay address was our home address, they didn't care told me my info was not legit and suspended my account 100% positive feedback over 90 days of selling, this people don't give a **** about what you send them they need to find one little error to tell you no, so sell slowly and I will recommend extra accounts just in case. |

| nobody999 | 08-12-2011 10:50 PM | is there anyway to get to the online questionaire? |
| Sandy D | 08-12-2011 11:31 PM | I have got no limits, 10/100, 10/500 and 10/1000 recently.
I am not going to touch them. It just pushes you to make more accounts to match what you believe you can sell.
Spread them out over the higher accounts, list your one item on the lower ones and let them sit for 90 days and see what happens.
Good luck. |
| gorky | 08-13-2011 01:08 PM | If you are selling legit stuff you should be fine. However, do understand that when you are calling into raise your limits you're dealing with the "AMERICAN" side of ebay. Not the philpino call centers. These people have significantly more power and are smarter. They will pry and if you mess up at any part say bye to that account. I would suggest if you can use multiple accounts because once you hit 200 items on that ebay account they will ask for docs anyways. So the best case for you to is to start another one. Quote:

I when thru the online questionaire, and got my limits raised to 100.
Well, I get 100 items posted within the first week of the month, and still have lots of inventory to list. All my stuff is legit, hand made stuff. I'm simply one of those people that got dumped because of poor shipping habits, which I've now fixed.
To get higher than 100, requires a phone in....is that correct?
Is eb ay hard-nosed about raising above 100, or is it typically granted?

If your registration info is partially legit, and eBay can find you in public records, you will then be given the questionaire. If you are all stealth, then they will ask you to call in, instead. |

Good luck. | I'm confused. You say you have no limits, and then you post 3 limits..... |

Also, as I said, my limit is currently 100, so how can I hit 200, like you warn me about? |

| dhunter0294 | 09-18-2011 09:19 PM | Turtlecove I'm in the same boat you are,
i'm using a friends information but he "does" know about it.
Account is STRONG 200+ Positive feedback most of it DSR's
Almost a top rated seller but got hit with limit 100/5000 a few months ago after 2 policy violations selling REALLY Hi-Risk items like an idiot.
What you're saying is if the info is legit and you click raise limits it will be an online questionaire not call in? Have you done this yet? If so i'd like to know what happened and if they asked for documents/invoices after the questionaire and what the final decision was. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:33 PM.
