Default Limits higher than 100, easy or hard?

So my ste alth account is going good.
I when thru the online questionaire, and got my limits raised to 100.
Well, I get 100 items posted within the first week of the month, and still have lots of inventory to list. All my stuff is legit, hand made stuff. I'm simply one of those people that got dumped because of poor shipping habits, which I've now fixed.

To get higher than 100, requires a phone in....is that correct?
Is eb ay hard-nosed about raising above 100, or is it typically granted?

Typically granted if you are legit.

I've never had an issue when all of my information on the accounts were real and the invoices were real and of course receiving lots of positive feedback.

It's seriously nothing to be afraid of if you have nothing to hide.

Huh? If we had nothing to hide, we wouldn't be on this forum.

LOL , even if you guys don't have anything to hide.. you'd still land on this forum. Trust me .

Don't be naive... eBay and PP will slander innocent people and they have and will continue doing so

PS: what were the online questionaire btw?

Well if your information is completely b o g u s and you have no invoices, don't make the call. Simple as that. Has been explained before.

If you research for a little bit, I have clearly covered this about 100 times.

I think unless you hit your limit, they will not increase them.

Agent just told me the other day, they don't remove category limits before 90 days.

The online questionaire offered me choices for:
What street did my family own property on
What street did my mom grow up on
and the third question asked about a previous employer, of which my answer was "none".

I have indeed been hitting the 100 limit, and as you can see, it's only the 8th of the month. So, that leaves me with over 20 days now that I cannot list anything new.

Mercurial333, that limit I have of 100 might not be a "category" limit. That may simply be an eBay limit imposed to all categories, when lifted after answering their questionaire.

What bearing does that have on my original question, SweetPea?

Theyre just saying, seriously if something goes awry, and trust me eventually it will. Say your account gets banned and you have an outstanding balance or something your friend might feel strange about getting collection notices and phone calls sent to him or her. They may think its identity theft. Under no circumstances should you use a social either.

And again, what does this line of concern have to do with my original question of raising my limits above 100, and whether or not eBay easily performs this raise?

I think you and SweetPea, need to read my first post/question.

Just showing concern for you. I don't want to see anyone make mistakes and get in trouble. Someone else on a post the other day said they used the information of a real person without them knowing. There was a lot of concern from members on this post. The person didn't realize what he'd gotten himself into. We are all here because we are trying to find a way back on Ebay and hopefully give each other advice how to do it safely!

There's probably hundreds of pieces of advice you can give me, regarding ways of getting back on eBay safely.

If there's a concern about me using a friends legit info, then I'll start a new thread in that regard.

So, again, this thread has nothing to do with that.
I don't think I've ever had to work this hard, to keep a thread on topic before ! WOW.

Well as Unkown5454 said, if you have nothing to hide make the call..This has been discussed in great detail on various threads. It has also been mentioned that you should take it SLOW...you are pushing in the wrong direction

@TurtleCove, I have really no experience with calling in to raise limits - hence my lack of contribution to this thread. I just spread sales a lot. Some accounts gradually have had no limits or have had constant 10/100 - very few accounts start off with no limit.

Actually because of the manner in which you presented the info, it did.

You should not say ste alth and friend's info as being the same.

It is not the same. A friend's info being used on ebay/paypal is rather different from having an account made up of ste alth info.

However moving on from that, use the REPORT button if you are dislike responses. Prevents holier than thou posts happening and I agree 100% thread goes off topic.
As you were
