"Not As Described" Case, Do I have a Chance?
Customer bid for my product limited edition perfume product June 26. They were very late in paying, I had to send a Case in order for them to pay on July 23. Never heard from her. Now, 2 months later I get a case with this bogus claim (she never contacted me), "As I explained to the seller, this mist was at my neighbor's place sealed in the package. Yet when I opened it, there are little purple flakes in the mist. I will not use something with floating flakes of who knows what inside the bottle."
Details provided by the buyer:
The buyer said the item doesn't match your description
The buyer has tried contacting you
The buyer paid on Jul 23, 2011
The buyer contacted you through personal email
The buyer has not received a response
The buyer is expecting a solution from you
The buyer chose "other" as the problem with the item
It's a $24 item and very limited edition, no longer sold in stores. I don't mind taking a hit to my feedback, I haven't had a neg in 6 months so I should be fine. But if this buyer can also win this case, then I might as well send a refund.
So, do I have a chance fighting this?
