Let's say I buy a stealth account which is registered in New York but my IP shows I live in Washington State. Would that cause them to put restrictions on my account?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
maybe not, people move on, ISP change the nets they use, sometime the real whereabouts can't be defined and so on. so only this inmost cases won't bring any problems. although it's better to have all the things in the best view possible
Hm. Well I have had three different accounts restricted today. All out of state -.-. I have different users on my computer for each account, so I kept the cookies. And I always changed my ip. sob..
Wizardhat exactly, don't risk it, it might be a red flag to ebay. Always have your IP, phone number, and address atleast 50 miles of each other, Same city is the best. There are ways of doing this
i have accounts in 5 different states, live in a completely different state than those, and use 2 different cell companies to log on which pick IPs all over the place. so no, it doesnt matter. just make sure the same ip doesnt get used for different accounts, DONT START OFF WITH VERO OR HIGH RISK ITEMS, sell slow at 1st, and you should be fine.

Naw ip wouldnt be the cause unless u use a VPN or ip outside the usa. all my stealth accounts i used on ebay was never anywhere close to my home town i was all over the usa :D also u might try using IE privacy keeper to clean cookies and flash cookies that will get you as well.
O i would clean them cause i make so many accounts the cookies would link them all togather. but if ur like wizard who has more then one account u would need to keep them clean to avoid getting linked.
i never keep cookies on my accounts even my main ebay account and i never had any problems.
I do the same thing but prefer to have 10 main ones on users in order to save passwords in firefox, keep pop-ups enabled for paypal shipping and to keep from having to pin verify when trying to list, that all can be a hassle after a while.
