I'm sure those replies are extremely helpful, but I'd like to add that they definitely check your DSRs, and how many, if any, cases you've had opened against you, and any violations.
With PP, they look at how much you're making, how quick and often you withdraw, beyond that, I'm not too sure.

Also you will have to go to the offices in person with all information of your family tree(countersigned by your solictor)
