| munrznnw | 12-02-2011 09:45 AM | Feedback After Refunding??? If I refund a buyer can he still leave me a feedback? |
MaryJ33 | 12-02-2011 10:23 AM | Yes. In fact, Just before I issue a refund and ask the buyer if they would be kind enough to leave me positive feedback since I am issuing the refund with no questions asked. Then I show them an example of what they might say when leaving the positive feedback, usually something like this:
Even there was a small hiccup with the order the seller handled it quickly and in a very professional manner. |
Yes they can - if you cancel the transaction prior to feedback being left, you can avoid feedback altogether. |

Also true - or waiting for 7 days to lapse. |
Dazza | 12-02-2011 03:05 PM | cancelling a transaction does not stop them leaving feedback well at least in the UK it doesnt. The only thing i have found that does this is automated non payment system. It puts a blue - - in the feedback column which means they cannot leave it if the symbol the on the transaction does not show this in place of the empty star then they can still leave feedback |
Ayusaga | 12-27-2011 10:46 PM | Yes, be careful with that, and make sure you notify the buyer that you're refunding them and be sure to get their reply. Some buyers do not like when they are refunded out of nowhere. |
Refunded buyers sometimes act in a very unpleasant way... Make sure you communicate with them all the time. Be clear and concise. Even if you don't positive feedback, at least you avoid the negs |
hackteck | 12-28-2011 07:38 AM | i had a buyer ruin my perfect feedback recently because i refunded him and told him i didnt ship outside of the usa on that perticular item he got pissy and left me a negative sometimes it cant be avoided |
@hackteck, yes that's the ugly truth..
There are some cruel buyers out there and eb rules help them... We can only communicate with them and hope for the best.
I had to refund a buyer once and communicated with him all the way through and he was so cooperative... Then, bammmmm he left me a negative and issued a complaint because pp took the refund from the bank and not the pp balance which took 4 days... He got pissed and left neg and caused me so much trouble that I had to let this account fall :( |
Killuminati | 12-28-2011 07:54 AM | never let paypal take money from your bank big risk always have money in your paypal balance you dont want paypal to see your real name. |
I don't know why pp did that, i didn't withdraw and had more than enough in the pp balance??? |
When money is moved from whatever source, a receipt is generated with who sent what. So when pp pulls funds from your bank - the receipt will be from the bank showing the account holder's name. When pp SENDS funds to your bank, pp will issue a receipt showing the account reg name - banks usually (depends on the amount and level of activity) don't care about the name given BY pp since many banks allow wired deposits. |
musclenerd1912 | 12-30-2011 06:33 PM | Feedback after refund's option on ebay is stupid thing i even seen on the world , i sold 6 ipad 2 but when my shipper told my that all those gone by some of reason , so i sent a apologize letter to buyer and asK for refund , then i did but all of fukcing buyers on ebay still left me negative fb like " lie seller , beware of him " and now my account is below standard selling and i could not sell anymore on ebay . Damn |
Rule number 2 don't dropship or sell anything without it being in your hands...... |

The bank will see your business's name instead with transfers. Also, not all banks like it when you have money being transferred from a paypal account with a different name. However, in that particular case, just try to stay under the radar and you should be good. |
newjerseymax | 12-31-2011 12:07 AM | I have done hundred of withdraws from checking account where the name does not match at all. Actually one is boys name and other is girls.
I retried this again on more recent newer stealth and still no issues. However I think the lazy factor comes into play. Whomever is doing it might just not want to deal with it or they just don't notice. But, yes its super risky. |
