i ran through ubid.com real quick it doesnt seem like they have alot of buyers.

Ioffer has over 3 times as many listings as their secondary competitor Ecrater but if you check statbrain.com Ioffer and Ecrater has very similiarl number of visitors a day.

On Ubid you have to be a registered business. You have to provide alot of business info for them to approve you to sell on there. Too much hassle.

My digital items depend on HTML to sale successfully. Therefore, ecrater sucks for me. But other items might do well.

I was shocked to see that I sold 3 digital items on iOffer ONE day. This is where I am staying. However, be forewarned, iOffer will restrict your account if you don't get feedback. They will make you beg like a dog for buyers to leave you feedback.

As for listings, I don't know about ecrater, but iOffer's number of listings is inflated because a listing stays up FOREVER, as long as the seller is still registered. On ebay, listings expire max in 10 days and new listings replace them.

i havent had any success on ioffer.com yet, hopefully soon

411guru 05-15-2008 09:58 PM

Since iOffer has no listing fees, you should list as many listings as possible, even if you have only 1 of the thing you are selling. If you are selling a computer for example, list it in the purse section. Ioffer doesn't care. When you sell it, just delete the other listings. Also, since the site is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ purse, watch heavy, put in your keyword search box, words like gucci, LV, rolex, prada etc, even if you aren't selling those things. This is what I did.

But this selling restriction due to lack of feedback is pissing me off. I sold 5 things and they suspend my selling. I've begged for buyers to leave me feedback with no reply. Then I even offered to paypal buyers $1 and no one is replying yet. I guess this is their way of preventing feedback manipulation.

I tried that on a suspended account and no go. It never transferred over after many hours.

411guru 05-16-2008 01:32 AM

ebayhateluv,

I did. But Ioffer only wants feedback from sales you've made on ioffer. Update: one buyer left me a feedback and my listings appeared again like magic! I'm gonna spamm iOffer. Try to get some sales! Good luck guys.

2eXclusiive 05-16-2008 03:02 AM

because there are so many listings on ioffer, alot of prices are very low and competitive and since there are only a handful of buyers its hard to get a sale.

411guru 05-18-2008 09:38 AM

It seems the link has been taken down. Before it was, i noticed iOffer had been making much leeway with a second place rank.

Ballsack 05-20-2008 08:12 AM

Ioffer doesn't allow you to post your emails but can't you just write your email out like this, emailme at yahoo dot com or something?

2eXclusiive 05-20-2008 02:11 PM

yea you can, do that if you want to put your email down.

Ballsack 05-20-2008 07:36 PM

I assume ioffer won't catch that right?

2eXclusiive 05-20-2008 07:40 PM

nope, they have so many ⊗⊗⊗⊗ they wont go after a small thing like that
not a chance.

Ballsack 05-20-2008 09:01 PM

They don't go after that stuff because they make money off of it.

Ballsack 05-21-2008 01:46 AM

For the record it was removed. Still not sure how they detected it.

2eXclusiive 05-21-2008 05:23 AM

oh wow, i know for a fact ioffer's team did not pick it up, some one must have reported it, because they probably thought that you was trying to do a transaction outside of ioffer.

Ballsack 05-21-2008 07:38 AM

That's unlikely no one is actually clicking on any of the ads. :)

2eXclusiive 05-21-2008 01:42 PM

wow, i guess ioffer does check ea. listing then.
but they still allow counterfeits/???

411guru 05-21-2008 04:15 PM

I think its a bot they have.

importracer150 05-21-2008 04:19 PM

Ioffer has slow traffic. It aint worth it.

Ebay has the most traffic of them all.

But they are getting too strict with all the new rules.

2eXclusiive 05-21-2008 04:22 PM

you know i really do wonder
on how long ebay will last? 1 more year? 2?
and things start to get out of hand and they cant even handle it.
