I'll agree to an extent. I am NOT in favor of harrassing ANYONE. And I would much rather deal with the person directly. But if all I can find is a number for someone who can get him a message, I'll use it.

In my above post, it was my intention to call and speak directly with the jerk. His mother wanted to know who I was and why I was calling. So, I told her. Not my first choice, but effective.

When I first started selling on Ebay I was selling a $300 software that about 3 others were selling also, One in particular didn't like that I offered more in my package than him so he started screwing with my auctions. He was using the same info to register so I managed to get his phone number and called the guy and we actually talked for about 2hrs, we both realized we were both trying to make our money to feed our people and the competition between us was in a way getting to both of us.

We decided that we would alternate weeks of selling, It actually worked and started sharing software but the hammer came down and both of us were shutdown!

I still think that between all of us here can help each other fight our enemies.

EXACTLY! If someone wants to compete on price, or by being innovative in other HONEST ways, so be it. That is competition. But when someone wants to corner the market by getting other sellers kicked off a site, that is something else entirely. They DESERVE whatever they get.

Most of us are not selling online for the pure joy of it. We need the money. When you mess with someone else's money or threaten their livelihood, you have to expect that person to react. That does not have to mean doing anything immoral or illegal, but making the perpetrator UNCOMFORTABLE is definitely fair game. At least, in my opinion.

I would use elitepowersales advice and in the meantime if you are dead certain it is who you think it is then get his phone number (easy enough if you have the address) and have a quiet chat with him without being rude, aggresive or threatning!

Once he realises you are on to him and he is not just sat behind a screen playing dirty tricks 9/10 he will stop as he runs a business himself and will understand the implications of tit for tat actions that to be quite honest get no where in this world but more heartache.

I find it is best to halt the situation before it gets too much out of hand..

some people dont understand nice polite talk, they need to be told

on the other hand you can resolve matters with pleasantries sometimes

but normally the people who you can resolve situations in a nice manner would not be using underhand tactics in the first place

so they deserve the wrath of god!
