imjustme - hmm you might be on to something ;)

imjustme 05-17-2008 02:01 PM

And once I've defrauded enough sellers, eBay will re-introduce the feedback option for sellers. Awesome isn't it?

2eXclusiive 05-17-2008 03:46 PM

ebay doesnt care about sellers, they never did, never will,

sellers depend on ebay
ebay depends on buyers

yogarelax 05-17-2008 04:47 PM

I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer... BUT, it seems to me that "fradulent" mean, bad sellers are going to have heyday. I think I would be scared spitless if I sold high dollar items, or actually, a buyer could just buy a HUGE amount of toys, make-up, etc. & end up getting them free!!!
Oh my gosh... I don`t think ebay has thought this one through!!
Or they are going to become REAL familiar with each state`s Attorney General.

2eXclusiive 05-17-2008 05:04 PM

every scammers dream... come true
but thats if you take paypal, if you take money orders, checks, it might be diff.
but ebay has forced sellers to use paypal in some countries already

so is there a way out?
probably not, ebay knows its days are numbered and are trying to squeeze every penny out of us as possible.

no sellers = no buyers = no ebay?

yogarelax 05-17-2008 05:17 PM

For ebay all it well take is one or two publisized incidents & many folks well stop buying for awhile. But the real problem will be sellers who just do not want to take a chance, lose money or waste time dealing with a crook

2eXclusiive 05-17-2008 05:25 PM

this what it seems like and we all know ebay is not stupid, theyre actually very smart, look how far they have gotten, so there has to be a reason why they are implementing such a stupid idea, it might seem stupid and their reason is to prevent fraud but we all know ebay doesnt care, so ebay must be up to something....

now theres a thought :)

2eXclusiive 05-17-2008 07:29 PM

we should join the run
go from legit to a scammer
after all thats what it seems like they're supporting.

jscan 05-17-2008 07:40 PM

well we'd make more money, seeings both ebay and paypal support scammers :)

2eXclusiive 05-17-2008 07:44 PM

and plus there are no fees like sellers
so more mullah for us
=D

ebay should have implemented such a retarded idea earlier.

yogarelax 05-17-2008 11:49 PM

Frankly, I can see no advatage it being an honest seller. I worked so haed doing the right thing for buyers & boom, off I go., with really no explanation. I THINK I can guess, but correcting my guess did not get me anywhere... I realize I am just a little frog in the big pond, but , oh who cares. On to blgger & better selling on ebay, and the thought that I might actualy put something over on ebay is just too, too, too delicious. I think I have turned into a real creep!!!

2eXclusiive 05-18-2008 07:48 AM

yogarelax - you should think about doing what im doing, im in the process of making my own website, yea its a huge amount of work but it will pay off in the long run, you will make alot of more money and their are no retarded listing fees.

think about it.

yogarelax 05-18-2008 10:55 AM

Thanks for the input.. I am thinking about that.Any suggestions who to use?

2eXclusiive 05-18-2008 11:38 AM

on desiging a website?

yogarelax 05-18-2008 11:08 PM

uuuuh, well, I guess I should say... How to do it??? I mean design my own website... My brain is just ready to burst... I have learned so many things from this forum. I actualy figured how to do a spreadsheet!!! Now, don`t know every tiny detail yet... but got them set up, learned about.... well i could go on & on. Instead, I am going to bed. point me in the right direction for wesbsite "stuff" Thanks

imjustme 05-19-2008 03:48 AM

I just thought of this...

1. Buy an item.
2. Pay for it.
3. Wait for delivery.
4. Chargeback the seller.
5. Leave him negative feedback.
6. (He can't leave you negative feedback back)
7. Get a coupon from eBay for 10% off your next purchase because you were not satisfied.

Repeat until rich :D

2eXclusiive 05-19-2008 04:41 AM

yoga - if you havent the slightest idea, then you should hire a professional or something, you can hire one at elance.com according to your needs, but think about it, it takes alot of hard work but in the long run its worth it.

2eXclusiive 05-19-2008 04:42 AM

im just me - lmaoooo
ur a genius

Its so tempting to try when ebay treat the honest sellers like crap.

imjustme 05-19-2008 07:13 AM

I bet if enough people do it, eBay will re-introduce the ability for sellers to leave feedback?

411guru 05-19-2008 09:43 AM

ha!............

2eXclusiive 05-19-2008 02:11 PM

i think not, ebay is hard headed
ebay accepting the fact that they made a mistake, C'mon
lol
you know better.

twdell 05-19-2008 02:14 PM

i just received my first negative today on one of my newer accounts. i had this nut case who bought an item off of me, but of course the idiot didn't read the full description until after the auction had ended. then when he realizes that he can't use the item he tells me he's not going to pay. so i filed a non-paying bidder claim. the whole time the nut is insulting me too.

the good thing is he is also a seller. he's going to get what he has coming.

on a side note, i filed a case with ebay to see if i could get the neg removed, and i noticed that you cannot leave a positive feedback with negative comments. that is grounds for removal. so that theory is out the window.

mantisinc 05-19-2008 02:17 PM

Twdell, it would probably have been worth not going along with the unpaid item dispute for the sake of a neg.

Ah well.

amc 05-19-2008 02:24 PM

twdell 05-19-2008 02:28 PM

this transaction was about 2 months ago. i didn't realize the nut was going to wait till today to do the feedback. the jerk even ended up paying for the item, but i told him don't worry about it, and i refunded him. just another phsyco.....

mantisinc 05-19-2008 02:31 PM

Looks like us sellers are going to have to treat buyers as they wish.

Lisa B 05-19-2008 02:52 PM

IMJ - You are killing me! I am laughing so hard right now.

I might have to try that.

I could just see it now....."Aspkin's Guide On How To Become A Fraudulent Buyer On eBay And Get Away With It"

Woot! Woot!

imjustme 05-19-2008 02:58 PM

Well, eBay is really asking for buyers to rip off sellers. By offering them:

1. "100% Protection" with PayPal.
2. The ability to leave negative feedback to honest sellers.
3. Preventing sellers from leaving negatives for bad buyers.
4. Encouraging the buyers to leave negative feedback if they wish.
5. Even giving them discount coupons for their next purchase if they leave negative feedback.

2eXclusiive 05-19-2008 03:01 PM

I Got A Idea
We Should All Be Scammers

Ebay Got Our Back
Paypal Got Our Back
Sellers Cant Do Anything
And The Best Part Their Are No Fees
=d

gotgameplan 05-19-2008 03:20 PM

True Because A Newbie Cant Get A Neg If Sellers Cant Leave Negs ?
I Think This Whole Feedback Poo Has Just Opened The Door For Even More Scammers.

2eXclusiive 05-19-2008 03:24 PM

more of a reason to break away from ebay, alot of us depend on ebay too much =/

imjustme 05-19-2008 03:29 PM

Like I said, if eBay prevents honest sellers from making a living and encourages fraudulent sellers to make a fortune, I may need to take a different direction.

2eXclusiive 05-19-2008 03:37 PM

Were else is there to go?

Lisa B 05-19-2008 03:50 PM

Thanks to both of you I have all these bad thoughts running through my head.

eBay didn't think things through at all and now they are going to pay.

I could always use a free Marc Jacobs bag, teehee.

imjustme 05-19-2008 03:55 PM

I'm usually not the 'bad guy'. But eBay is really making it attractive for bad guys to buy and very difficult for honest sellers to make a living. The only way to make them re-introduce neutral and negative feedback for sellers is to make them feel the need of it. And what better way? Think of 1 million eBay sellers doing this. It'll have them re-introduce it the next morning.

2eXclusiive 05-19-2008 04:13 PM

Well im sorry, i was a honest seller, selling on ebay, i was selling brand name sunglasses on ebay like chanel, prada, versace, vero, salvatore ferragmo... etc. They were all authentic, everytime i sold something my customers left me positive feedback and when a customer wasnt happy, i gladdy refunded their money INCLUDING shipping. I see everyday people on ebay selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ chanels, i can easily spot them, its not even funny as to how many ⊗⊗⊗⊗ are out there, anyways i got the boot for "abusing ebay" as a honest seller i have nothing to hide and i couldnt get it back, a honest seller gets the boot but the guy who is still selling knock offs is still up and making more money then ever, WTF is that? is that fair? absolutely not. Now i have a huge inventory and don't know what im going to do, if you were in my shoes i don't think you would act in a positive manner, but still im going to keep my head up and keep fighting.

i should make a ebay buyers account and buy $999999999999999 worth of jewelry, pay for it, when i get it, do a chargeback and sell it too my local jewelry store.

Am i going to do that? ofcourse not, its just ridiculous as to how ebay is treating their customers and no one is really out there to say anything, its like screaming at a deaf person, no point.

jscan 05-19-2008 06:28 PM

ive decided im turning Nigerian from now on.
