Hi Everyone...Hope all is well.. Had a quick question and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.. When I log into my ebay homepage, there's usually a visual of all the items that I last viewed.. Recently there's been items listed there that I haven't viewed at all. I was tempted to call Ebay and ask them about the issue but know that is the KISS of Death. Was hoping that someone can shed some light on this issue. I'm just wondering if someone hacked my account or if Ebay is doing this to get a rise out of me to call them...Noone else in my household has been using my account so I'm baffled... Thanks in advance for any help. Tami

oh thank goodness Im not alone...
I made a few accounts today then logged into another set and kept seeing the same item that I 'viewed' repeatedly..... even though I am letting the accounts age.
It freaked the heck out of me...
It might be a glitch. Lets hope someone else chimes in with an answer
There is another thread here on cookies interaction and all. We can't seem to get rid of the recently viewed items for some reason with user change, cookies cleaned up and even after running a CC cleaner. With brand new user account added to my PC I still see the other accounts last viewed items when I go to ebay. Not the same problem but that also should not happen. It could all be a glitch, hopefully it is.

Just now I have seen iphone lot in my recently viewed items and I never looked at them, can you tell what you see? Maybe its a new marketing tool for them or something?

Different user, from an older account to a brand new account and there was the last things I looked at showing up on the new user, new account from the old user, different user account.
[YES YES , I have also seen the tablet and pen! VIOLA! So its just random things. And sorry, to answer your question I never looked at any iphone or any tablets. Maybe we do not need to freak out??
QUOTE=GTB;358120]totallylegit did you view the iphone on another ebay account of yours
if this is happening to a few....they mite be putting in suggestions along with recently viewed
That is the scary part, seeing the items we never looked at made me almost happy. But I just signed into a new user account and there it is my recently viewed items again, the ones I really looked at. Oh that was a short lived relief
Somebody explain please, this is freaking me out. I did not log into anything else and I have at least 40 items I need to list but between the selling restriction I got two weeks ago and these technical difficulties I am having a hard time biting the bullet. I can't have these accounts linked or I am a dead girl

Same thing happened to me. Was wondering about that.
I think the marketing tool is the most likely explanation.
yotano211 - looking forward to hearing what your software engineering friend has to say about this.
I will call him in the morning. He sells stuff on EB a few times a year, I know he was a buyers and sellers account under his real name. So maybe he can tell me something. I never ask him anything about EB or software.
so it actually says recently viewed items and then shows ones you have never looked at?
strange if so tami
Yes, I thought it was mighty peculiar myself.. That's why I wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this.. Very strange.. Thanks for your response.. Always nice hearing from you.
