Default Legit Ebay Account - Need Some Advice Please

Okay I have a legit ebay account which I can provide information for.

I've been selling on this account for about a month now. I have the usual 10/1000 limit and need this to be raised up because I am not able to sell more higher priced items.

I currently have three seller feedbacks on this account.

If I click on the increase limit button, what will happen?
What information will they ask me and what documents would I need to provide (would prefer not to provide documents because of the hassle)?

Will they be pulling up my credit?

I really appreciate if you could answer this so I could get going on ebay and actually be able to sell more.

If the account is all in your Real Name, Real Address, etc then you should have no problem trying to raise limits.

What will they ask?
They are going to ask specific information that pertains to your personal information. The questions are completely random and always different so no one knows what question(s) will be asked.

If you say a legit eBay account. Does that perhaps mean your personal information or your family member's? If you wanna do it the easy way. They will ask you to verify your personal information pulled up from a 3th party. They will ask you question's such as " did you use to live at , or did you know who this person is etc. It should life up your limits by then if completed correctly

It's my personal account.

If I call them directly would that be better or if I do it completely online?

If anyone else who has done this could chime in, it would be really appreciated.

Thanks for the help everyone.

In my opinion personally i would say it's best to do it online. Just in case you review those questions they ask you & your not sure of those answer's you can exit out i believe & do it again. They give you 2 or 3 tries. If you cannot cmplete those then you would need to call again. Sometimes a rep would say " you would need to have a establish account in order to get your limit's raised " Or if your dealing with a person that knows what there doing they will transfer you to someone that actually has the power to be able to let you answer the questions again. If you cant answer tjose then they will asked you to fax in documents of proof of address , ID , etc.

Hope this helps

I have a friend who went the EIN route with a new eBay account he told me last week when he called them even with invoices from his US reputable supplier they told him minimum 10 Seller Feedback. Unless you have a secondary legit account that is established you are willing to link it to.
