Default Ebay android app email.... watching us?

Hello, just got an email from eBay saying sorry for the app problems, the email came through to my eBay registered email and not the one registered to gmail/ android play. I myself and others in here know ebay watch these apps, it even says when you download the app they will store the device details etc. I know people have started threads like this before but this new thread may be seen as a refresher so to speak.

Also, what is the app/ program called that lets you delete photo info, such as device etc?

Scary. But that is also why it is NOT recommended to use that application. Keep as many 'doors' closed to ebay as possible. Below is another recent thread. (Yeah & the sampe principles apply for Androids)

Exif is my preferred one.

Would not really recommend using the specific eBay apps - they are known for transmitting data

I have heard mixed reports. I have used the same app on the same phone on different accounts for some time now. To be honest, the chances would be slim if you delete the data cache, ip etc. There IS a chance yes, but they have so many routes to find people out on.

As Greenbean says however, closing as many doors as possible is a good idea

I prefer the eBay app as you can message people before buying etc. The next best on android is wick :|
