Default eBay Listings removed---waiting to hear back from eBay on $1700 FVF Credit!

Recently my account was suspended for a year. I called eBay today about possibly receiving a FVF credit on the listings that were removed. Turns out the amount was $1700!

The eBay rep I was talking to was all set to give me a credit until he realized the amount. He took it to one of his managers, who said he has to take it to a higher up before making a decision. Long story short, I'm waiting to here back from eBay on whether or not I'll be receiving a check for $1700 in the mail. Kind of overwhelming. Should hear from them by next week.

Anyone have a similar experience? Any suggestions? I've been doing some research to find a way to trap eBay if they decide to not refund my fees, but everything on their website says it's a case by case basis.

hahahahahaha.....you want ebay to send you a refund check for that much or any amount. Keep dreaming, I have never heard in my life ebay sending anyone their money back, in any form, for fees.

Yea in another dimension, where ebay is a happy company and everyone loves to sell on there with 0% fees.

When my account got suspended, I owed £70 in fees. I contacted ebay about paying this and they said they would check my account.

When the guy got back to me he said "oh looks like we owe you £26, so they sent it to my paypal.

Not sure how it happened but it made my day

Wow, first time in my life someone said that ebay paid them back for fees. The Christmas miracle started early or the word is comfirmed ending.

Still waiting to hear back. I have heard of people in the past getting a refund on FVFs. I want to say I was able to get $100 back a few years ago (maybe I'm remembering wrong).

Anyway, when I hear back from eBay I'll let you guys know. Keeping my fingers crossed, $1700 would be a nice early Christmas present
