Default longtime seller account permanently banned

So i had a legit account i had for over 12 years and selling legit items for 12 years but i've grown bit tired of how ebay kept changing there terms and there dreaded dsr systems... so neg and selling habits kept racking up and they actually gave me the boot permantely..... So with that said my close to 10000 feedback will be gone forever.... i'm mostly saddened about that... but then again.. ebay has not been great to small time sellers... So my question is this
if i have a family member who has an account in same home but is linked to my paypal account.. this one for sure will be caught in an instant correct??? i will be selling same items on there so that will make it even more the problem (im guessing they will see the items are same as items i used to sell)..

Yes - definitely not a good idea. I would say it's time to go complete stealth and read the Stealth Book a couple times.

ok so the book is pretty much just version 1 the whole time or is it at some vesion right now??? and i can just read it and follow it and should be ok.. 40 dollar ebook is quite pricey...im sure updates aren't necessary but would be nice to be on same page as ebay changes.... even if its minor... so guess version one book... not sure how it long it remained that

version that i have is 1.1.1. I'm not sure what the current version is right now. The book will give you the basic knowledge of how to go stealth, but it is not 101 stealth for dummies kind of book.
if you just need one ebay account then go buy one from here (yes they are available for sale by some members, just do the search) get a new computer and stop being naughty on ebay

Im on version 3.0 i think and it worked for me .
Not the easiest book to understand and i consider myself of reasonable intelect but once you have done the pages a few times and you start to think in a different way all will become clear.
I still took the easy option and purchased accounts as im impatient and wanted some age to them but i still understand the basics although i still have much to learn .
Seems to me after losing 2 good businesses on ebay if your not going stealth its just a matter of time before you will lose another.
I currently have a very good legit account doing very very well but ive been burned by EB to many times to sit and wait for them to pull that one so im doing something about it beofre hand.
Dont think of the book as expensive ... knowing what i know now if it was $500 i would buy it.
Knowledge is power . so protect yourself .

the version 3 you have was it purchased recently? i will still go ahead and get one seems like interesting read.... One question though is getting new account here an illegal thing we are doing or just working the system type of deal... either way.. i feel ebay burned me so its least i can do even the fact i was selling legit stuff!

purchased a couple of weeks back . but i suspect its not much differant to earlier issues .
Only thing i can gather different is dont delete your cookies on a specific user account but im no expert .
If something works then dont change it to much is my attitude.
As for illegal .. i doubt it but again im no expert and ive been shafted so many times by EB frankly i couldnt care less if it was there not taking my money no more .
Its just a game and you have to learn how to play it ..
But dont think you will read it and become the ebay hero .
Im about 4 weeks into my recovery plan and still learning new stuff every day .
But i have the book open in my desktop all the time , more so as i have a terrible memory and even more so the amount of info to take in cand not be flicked through and i have to keep refering to it .
Im sure my old brain will take it all in one day ... eventually
Good luck with whatever you decide to do , i to have had massive ebay accounts taken away from me.

You need to evaluate your products and services first, before starting again. It's not normal to lose an account due to low ratings.

Suspension for low DSR means you need to change your selling habits. The old flee market ebay is dead. They are trying to be a high-end mall now and frankly they don't care about you. You are not a customer, you are an ebay employee.
If you can make a good profit while being ok working for ebay then come back. If not, you will get suspended again.

Nothing illegal with eBay Stealth. You are just violating a private company terms of use.

J.

This is a common misconception. Actually the sellers are ebay's only customers because we are the only ones that pay them. Buyers are not customers of ebay but rather the inventory that ebay sells to the seller's. Thats right buyers are merely a good that ebay sells you. They look at "bad" sellers as people who are either stealing their goods, fraudulently obtaining them, or misusing their brand and damaging their reputation that would cause problems in them obtaining more goods.
