The only IP address in a gmail header will be that of the gmail server unless you use a mail client e.g Outlook or Apple mail to send or reply from your computer.
If you use ONLY the gmail web interface then it will only be their server IP shown, not your computers public IP

Worked great for years. 2w ago i replied to ebay email on my main account via gmail and got an email back from ebay saying that i could not send the email from ... An old suspended account i never log into!?!?
Next day i had 3 accounts suspended.
Ebay must be testing new linking features in gmail.
They can only link you through Gmail if you have replied to email through a mail client like Outlook or Apple Mail or have images enabled or clicked on an embedded link.
There is no other way they can link you to any other accounts other than human error.
