Private Listing vs Public Listing
I know this has been discussed in the past, but I thought I would dig the subject back up..... What do you think of public vs private listings, and the risk (or not) associated with each way.
My first thinking was that private listings only raises flags and that would just be another issue you can easily avoid with how picky ebay can be. The only reason I hesitate is because it is a tactic that is done by sellers who clearly know what they are selling is violating rules (software, beats, hats, etc), but they dont want the public/companies to see how much of these items they sell.
On the other hand I see perfectly legit sellers, whos listing are all private, which allows potentially competitors to know what is hot and what is not to a degree. That is the thing I love about AZ is that I have 10,000+ items and none of my competitors know the top sellers. As mentioned before I like to avoid any miniscule potential issues with ebay and the monkeys who work there.
