Success in fighting off VERO holder

I had a VERO holder that was taking down a couple of my auctions a day to make it seem like multiple infractions when they were all listed on the same day. Then he started taking down stuff he didn't even hold rights for saying the item contained "parts" that were infringing. Even though his copyright was for a totally different brand. Anyway, after calling and emailing vero@ebay and filing a counter claim, I finally got someone to reinstate the auctions and remove my suspension.
What are some of the other ways to fight off false VERO claims, from the competition?

In some of my recent listing i first see who all will be a threat you don't necessarily have to vero to report someone try saving seller to the save sellers list then report them yourself. I have learned that some people who report are not vero and just competition. Or be creative and list in another category you may lose 40-50 bucks depending on item because of visibility but your item will still sale

Document everything and keep pushing back - look for all breaks in the Vero e-mail - if the e-mail of the sender is fishy, point it out. eB will listen
