Default Last second scammers

Ive been getting alot of the new user no feedback buyers lately. It used to be they would email you and give some bs story about their kid in nigeria. Lately it just seems like they bid and then say nothing. Im just curious what their goal even is. I have a laptop up. A scammer bids at the last second he just created the account the same day. Then he never says anyting. No email no nothing. Its been bugging me.

Buyer restrictions dont help. I would love the ability to ban people who just signed up for ebay but you cant. Even the paypay restriction doesnt seem to help.

Maybe also add the ' buyer must have a credit card on file' to purchase the item.
along with the paypal account attached, that way it will make it all harder for them to just bid at the last second.

I don't believe this feature is available on US accounts. If it is, I would LOVE to know where I could enable it.

I would add buyer restrictions based on the country and or number of feedback. You can do that on eBay. If you get someone that seems legit with low or zero feedback you have blocked you can add them to an exemption list.

I put any buyer with zero feedback must contact me via ebay messages before bidding. If you bid and do not contact me I will cancel your bid.

I want serious buyers and ask that if you have zero feedback to contact me before placing your bid.

Imperative to set buyer conditions.

Even if it feels you have more conditions possible to attract buyers.

There will be so much help from ebay if a bid goes wrong...........

Oh wait, they could care less.

probably a competitor, if they are higher bidder, then they tie you up, while they get the other bids ....

if it is limited amount of similar goods, check who that zero person bid on, they probably do it to every other acc except their own one (unless they are shilling too, but still even then they will not ever win their own auction)

you can see their ID like this eg. w***r(0) on the bid history for similar auctions.....

they do it at last minute because you cannot remove and block them, like you would if you checked for zeros and there was time to spare...
