why isnt it? just pay for it by month if you need it. your backup accounts should still be somewhat active anyways. you always want to be selling something on them. | Really? Was about to dump some stuff around the house on an account. Am I supposed to sign up a for store now? Duh. |
| incniu | 04-08-2013 08:59 PM | store = more selling = paypal asking for tax id = doomed
also, store = more selling = more fee for ebay = more listing = higher ebay stock price |
| km018 | 04-08-2013 09:19 PM | why is more selling a bad thing? Sorry if a stupid question. |

| golden_monkey | 04-08-2013 09:59 PM | anyway, just saw the update message again and scratch that 50 free listings every month, they are giving away 150 free listings just with the basic store.. SO DOUBLE YES! :amen: |

So whats your opinion in this?
Getting a store can be good but, is it for all sellers? | One account with store - one account with auction listings - vary your listings |
| Sandy D | 04-08-2013 11:15 PM | Everyone has their own ways so the OP has to crunch the numbers themselves to see what is best for them. |

The store gives better freedom for 'buyer control'.

Would love to know if any gift-cards still work for eBay verification. I know lots of them still work for PayPal but have stopped working for eBay. |
| Impact | 05-01-2013 04:22 AM | One of my accounts had ebay store for awhile without the final value fee changes, but now I have subscribed to ebay store on all of my accounts. Its cheap and saves you a lot of money if you are full active seller on ebay. Good Luck! |
| km018 | 05-01-2013 11:38 AM | How do you "name" your ebay store? I'm still on a non-stealth ebay account. In the process of getting some stealths set up for a rainy day.
But my ebay name is the same as my email. I'm wondering if I should change the name or name my store something clever. Anyone have thoughts on this? |
| Here We Go Again | 05-01-2013 01:16 PM | For me it is a easy YES I will now have a store.
The $19.95 cost for the store is MUCH cheaper in the long run.
Final Value Fee withOUT store 10%
Final Value Fee WITH store 9%
That 1% difference can equal $200 - $300 a month for me.
So I will take the store and the lower FVF and continue on with life. |
| Duster | 05-01-2013 02:11 PM | For me, the numbers support getting a store.
Quick question though, a few of my listings occurred right on the edge of the new fee model deadline and eBay charged me the full non-store FVF. Any tips on getting it revised without calling in and trying to explain that to "them"? |

| user3657 | 05-04-2013 02:59 AM | Am I missing something? I signed up in late april for an eBay store and I thought the new fees were suppose to go into effect May 1st but im paying the same fees as I was in March/April. Ive sold a DVD and SSD hard drive which should have lower fees if im reading right....
Am I missing something? |
| km018 | 05-06-2013 09:30 PM | I signed up for a store but my listings I already had up are getting the 10% final value fee. Alot of these listings are "good til cancelled". Should i end listings and start new ones. Or will I get the new FVF once the listing starts over? |
| Sausage | 05-06-2013 10:36 PM | I am aslo getting the old prices - I signed the last few days of April. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:09 AM. | |
