Default Shipping question with stealth account

When buying a stealth account from this site, I have a question for shipping items .. I don't know what the address of the account is going to be but when you actually ship your item it scans from usps and says where it is shipped from which city, which is going to be completely different than the address that came with your purchased stealth account is this okay?

So far I have had no issues with my shipping address being different from my ebay account address. I'm based in the UK so I don't know how different it will be for you in the US.

That is a method used by many stealthers including myself with minimum issues. As long as you don't fraud consumers, you should be ok.

Let me understand what you experienced stealthers are saying or correct me if I am not reading what you are saying.

You are saying the address used to buy things with the stealth ebay and paypal can match the address that was used already on a permanently limited account? If so I do not know different but sounds very "linky" to me and there is no way I would advise that for long term success.

This thread is about the shipping address when selling not buying

Then with every item shipped -- in the packaging you leave instructions on how to process the return

Now that is a good answer but not detailed enough to actually help someone avoid problems.

It's partly a good reply.

Ideally a sensible stealth user would not have an address that had been used on a linked/suspended account.

Variations of being stealth are what causes limitations.

Why vary?

Formula for stealth is proven.

Use it and have success.

you can either...

1. remove return address
2. leave stealth address as return address
3. replace stealth return address on label with accessible address

I have used all 3 with no problems. I tend to go with #1. I print via pp with a piece of tape where the return address is printed so I can easily remove it after printing. I also include a thank you note asking buyer to email me first if there is any issues with the item.

Note: option 1 & 2 opens risk of no delivery & lost package. That being said, I have not run into that issue.

It's fine. Return address doesn't matter one bit. I ship items with returns from all 48 continental states.

I buy cheap Avery labels 600 for about $5.00, I print my actual return address on them and stick it over the "stealth" return address, & yes I have had them shipped back to me for improper postage or an undeliverable address. This way eBay sees no change. On valuable items I have business cards printed with return instructions printed on them to put in the package. You don't want an item being delivered back to a address with a nosy or concerned person living there

Agreed, I advise doing option 3. I always print out the labels using eBay or PayPal so I leave the stealth return address then black it out. And tape over an address with a Biz Name and a PO Box or a Mail Box that I have access to. I think in 4 or 5 years I have only had one person ask about it. I just told them that items were being drop shipped. Or I ran out so a friend who sold the same items sent one for me.

But back to the question never had any problems regarding the scanning the items in one Zip code while your address is registered in another area.

Yes I do - I dont bother with a more complex system (which I could) but...I do get a bit lazy....even though it costs more

It is doable. I have told buyers the "other" address is the fulfilment warehouse. They like that as I add it makes their shipping less expensive lol
(They think)
