Default Best Month Ever on Ebay

Just curious when did your best month ever on ebay occur? Has it been recently, was it pre-recession, or perhaps even during the height of it.

My last few months have been the best that I have had, granted I am not a high volume seller, I usually do less then 75 items per month but sales seem to be ticking up a little bit lately, I hope its a sign that the economy overall is on the upswing but it could just be a fluke.

Nearly always December, but that is because I have a lot more items to sell at that time.

Its all about supply, demand, and timing.

Overalll typical retail sales go up into the holiday months peaking in December towards the middle of the month.

If your merchandise is geared to the summer months then that maybe why you see a spike on sales.

Also if you have found a niche that may have an effect on your sales.

Track your numbers and see where it is this time next year.

December. In a good week in December I can bring in 20k and close to 100k overall. Last week of November as well is pretty good. I'll spend the month of November preparing and scheduling listings for that 3 week period.

Nov and Dec are always record months for me.

The more accounts I have running the sales are unlimited.

I usually run 20 accounts per week most of the year and will run 30-40 come late November and through December.

I break my record for sales every year, year after year as I learn more and add new products.

^^^ +1, if you make 5K this moth and 3K next month that's keeping track. How can you guys not know? Also don't you guys do your taxes? I keep a very tight lit my purchase price, shipping, fees, and everything so I can calculate my actual net to show for tax purposes. Then again I majored in accounting in college.

I been also having great months however this is because I'm just taking off I'm about 7 months into stealth and now I'm selling to limits on all accounts ( not exactly to limit but I sell 12 items a month $1000 a month to keep under radar) holds are being lifted and I finally have nice cash flow to supply all accounts.

But like all retail , I'm sure the last quarter will be the best as long as I continue to increase accounts
