Never had anyone ask me for that, I'd ignore that request and just ship out, if they press the issue just tell them to look at return address on package ( hopefully all stealth) and tell them feel free to message you thru ebay

Well can't ignore the request, It was requested by the buyer to Ebay and it was given to the buyer. I was sent an email notifying me that it was requested. Probably worried they aren't going to get their crap, or scammer.

Just give all your stealth info and try and ship it out fast with priority shipping if you can, what else can you do.

Yea I never had that one, how do you ship , how long will your customer have to wait to get the item???

The longer they wait the more that info will probably googled and what not and when nothing comes up they may get nervous.

May be good if its domestic to ship it priority 2-3 days if that is possible with your item.

I'm able to use all flat rate priority boxes USPS and get the item right out, I feel if the item arrives fast that makes 80% happy

I have had it happen a couple of times. Nothing ever has come of it. But I agree it always make me scratch my head when it happens. I think the only info eBay gives them is you City, State name and Phone Number.

I have had this happen to me twice.

Both times I was asked if I would sell wholesale to them both.

Since it came via ebay, a response is needed.

Need to be careful of approach and what is said.

Ill be honest.
I do this as a seller to avoid headache buyers.
They ask stupid questions, too much negatives given, non paying strikes, etc, and I get the info to add to my master block list.

The buyer may have been burned in the past or is a competitor trying to find out who they are getting their merchandise from.

eBay will always give that information if you don't give them.

I always shipped my items from US, so I had a buyer who wanted to return an item. He emailed me via eBay to send return address. Before I replied, eBay gave buyer my Canadian address and phone number. I had to email buyer directly to ignore eBay and ship to my US address. I still got a positive feedback from this buyer.

I agree, anyone who pesters me with multiple questions. I like to do a quick feedback scan and see what else they have bought, look at their feedback left for others. If anything looks off I block them as well. For what the margins are on most my items I would rather let a potential buyer walk if I think they might be picky and try to return the item, leave a negative or just be a hassle in any way.

Yep , any questions from a buyer that already raises flags I simply just add there name to the block list and move on. If the buyer is already complaining before they even bid than that's a red flag
