Standard advice for gmail users is to disable images.

@arpichelago...DISABLE YOUR IMAGES NOW!!!
I can't tell if that is Chrome, but in case it is, click on Gear symbol and go to Settings in the upper right corner.
Within the General tab, select the option "Ask before displaying external content".
Alternatively, if you get an option to select "Don't display from now on" within the email itself, do that.

I only have 1 account that is 2 months old I'm still at 10/1000 and the first month I sold 10 items for about $400 worth. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll have higher selling limits come November/December. Reading through this thread gives me hope that eBay is going to be more lenient in the future on sellers.

I had 4 accounts go from 10/1,000 to 30/3,000 in the past month which is a bit crazy for accounts that only have 3-4 items sold, lol.

Definetly things have slowed since all them crazy raises
This time of year is critical for retail so that's is why they are not giving raises , they already did that and put themselves in a position where they gave limit increases out and the accounts to survive are the strongest and the ones they want for the season
Security is up , making new accounts is harder but it's expected, they won't keep this up once the new year comes it will go back to normal .

On Sunday I was printing shipping labels without paying much attention the saw the different numbers at the top.
With running multiple accounts they sometimes look the same.
This account went from 30-3000 to 200-10,000.
The account is approx 6 months old.

Hey guys,
Haven't posted in awhile, but have been reading and trying to get setup for my first stealth account.
Having read this thread and a couple others, it seems that eBay has been tougher on new accounts lately.
Would it be smarter to make the account now, and just make purchases through it until the new year, and only start selling after that?

i been getting Raises now on accounts that i made in July and August, sold one item and just started really selling on them now, but nothing big like i was getting before and during the summer months , like 300/30000 , no more of them, and those accounts seemed to hit a wall in raises, but lots became power sellers which is great, i love the discounts and postal discounts , every three packages i send i save over a $1. so that adds up along with the fee discount , so i cant complain, i received a small limit increase to 30/3000 2 weeks ago and paypal holds were lifted , and this was the first month i sold on it , but i just dont think ill see any huge jumps until the new year just gradual bumps , which is fine 30/3000 is perfect limit for me

Those nice raises were great, they make you feel good that your beating the system but in reality , you need to spread your sales out so 20-30 items on one account i sell average $50 per item so that is more than enough.
They cant be this tight with security and limit raises forever, its the natural progression of the year to the holiday season, eventually they will need to give raises unless they want to stop making money themselves
